These college is so big . It is in large acres of land . They have very good and we'll maintained infrastructure . All the buildings are so big and the classes are very good . They are clean everyday . Nice .
Academic are good . The director and head of director mam are little bit hard but others teachers are really good . They always there for us to help . The way they teach is really appreciative work . They all are talented .
It is good to know that how much placement these college have offered . So , let me tell you that these college have offered very good placements though it has not offer very good means high package but they have drive good placements these year .
This college has best infrastructure I have seen till now from other colleges. Good classrooms with modern furnishing , sports complex, grounds etc many things are provided for the students. Auditorium is also there , hostel facilities are also very good .
The faculty of PEC is much more better then other colleges. Because of teachers studies do not feel that much difficult and we can easily understand every thing, also classes are very interactive and not at all boring.
Our college has a record of best placements many high profile companies and MNC's visits the campus for placements . Our college has better placements the NIT's also there is a seperate training and placement cell in college where students are prepared individually for interviews and placements.
Campus is very good and has positivity . It is green and beautiful also many cultural fests are organized for students to let them grow their other skills also. Also it is near sector 15 so there are number of facilities you will get there.
It is a great college with such good placements and positive environment.
Yes everything is fine like wine here in Punjab engineering college. Located in Chandigarh life is always vibrant and full of new things here. University has all the facilities for the students. And living spaces are clean as well
I studied btech in aerospace engineering because i had interest in that. The curriculum is up to date. Exam are stress and so is the attendance. But overall everything is great here. The course do makes me job ready
Quality of placement is amazing and I am very much impressed with the average salaries though. I didn't opted for one , so can't comment on the digits. The placement process is easy and pleasant. The college is supportive for the same
The campus has a wide range of technical equipment for any kind of engineering research. The classrooms are well maintained, with fixed wooden desks, wifis, projectors and some even having air conditioners. There is a cricket ground, football ground, athletics track, tennis court, badminton court, basketball court and swimming pool, so sportspersons from all fields can train here. Overall, the campus is super clean, with specified parking areas, AC library and a fantastic market for daily needs.
I studied Mechanical Engineering, because of PEC's long-standing reputation in this field. The recent construction of a state-of-the-art Siemens lab has added to its credibility even more. The professors here have decades of teaching experience. Some have orthodox teaching styles, whereas some include a lot of recent developments in their curriculum. Overall, if you are looking for a career in the manufacturing sector, this is definitely a good place to be groomed.
The college has close to 75% placements. If you have decent extra curriculars, along with a minimum CGPA, it's easy to get placed. The average salary is around 7.5 LPA, and the maximum may go up to 40 LPA, which usually goes to Computer Science students. The placement process is easy, the placement cell takes care for most of the stuff. There are enough companies from both core and IT sectors.
Approximately 1.5 lakhs per year, since I was a day-scholar. I was able to recover the entire fees within my first year of job, so it definitely didn't hurt my pocket.
The campus is brimming with greenery and cleanliness. It has minimal vehicular movement. All the buildings have been newly renovated. There are a wide variety of cultural clubs and technical societies, for students to indulge their minds and hone their hard/soft skills. It's mostly a city crowd, and even the support staff is pretty amazing, especially the security guards. The campus is located near PGI, Chandigarh's largest govt hospital, so it is both safe and easily accessible.
The college boasts a top-notch library, stocked with diverse resources. Its sports facilities are outstanding, promoting fitness and team spirit. The labs are well-equipped, fostering hands-on learning and innovation
The college offers a robust curriculum, keeping pace with industry trends. Continuous new developments, like versitile courses, enhance learning options. A dynamic academic environment, fostering growth.
Outstanding college with excellent faculty, vibrant campus life, and impressive career opportunities. A top choice for higher education. Placements are good for computer science branch, some of the students even got proposal from 3 companies during my time period
This college offers exceptional value for money, combining quality education with affordability. A smart choice for budget-conscious students. During my time it was 40 thousand per semester but the fees was getting changed after every year.
Campus life here is vibrant! Hostels are comfortable, fostering strong bonds among diverse students. Engaging teachers make learning enjoyable. It's a thriving community for personal growth.
The College Infrastructure is good and there is a regular maintiance and there is a mordern classroom filled up with smart boards and wifi and the space around the college is clean and the food is provided is hygenic
The Academic is good and there is lot of staffs with more than ten years of experince and there is lot of ways to develop our skill and the college is always developed its syllabus with the recent curriculum.
Placements are quite good and there is a package of 4-15 LPA packages and the quality of the placement is good and there is a placement offered in both inter and intra college and the process is very easy.
The college infrastructure is old, the lecture halls except the NAB are kind of run down, and the college itself is in a desperate need of a renovation. The boy's hostels are also run down. The food is ok but the hygiene is kind of bad.
The academic structure of the college is very versatile, being a first year its kind of overwhelming at first but its designed to help you grow different areas, especially incorporating communication skills into the curriculum is a great step.
Placements are awesome. The average package of this year for electrical is 15.2 LPA and for CSE it is 24.7 LPA, and for ECE it is 18.3 LPA. Highest package (off campus) for electrical is 1.5 CPA and highest package (on campus) is 64 LPA for electrical and 84 LPA for CSE.
Fee for about 4 years is 13 Lacs including hostel and mess fee. I feel like the RoI is quite good actually as you're destined to get placed if you're in a good branch but like the hostels are not worth the payment tbh.
The campus life is quiet. 150 acres of campus and only 50 acres is in use, rest is the residential area, in short the college doesnt have much to offer if you want to roam around a big campus. AND WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T JOIN DRAMS.
Overall a great college.
PEC has almost every necessary infrastructure and facilities, but those mare maintained very poorly, like seimens lab was built with 250Cr budget but now the condition is robots are out of service, and this is the condtion with every lab,Built with very high amount and then not maintained properly, Living spaces are not good and you will have to adjust a lot with both mess and hostels.
I am from mettalurgy engineering branch, Curriculum is very old and 100% outdated, things that are in curriculum are no more used in industries, quality of teaching is good and PEC is working towards hiring new teachers who are focused towards industry levels,You will have to work a lot skills like consultancy, Finance to get a job from this branch in PEC.
Placements are outstanding, infact your future is almost secure once you enter PEC in any branch, Around 80% students were overall placed and from CSE it was 90%, Highest offered was 83LPA to 5 students,Apple,Microsoft,Atlassian,Amazon are some of top recruiter, Average overall is 16.7LPA, CSE-25LPA,ECE-18LPA,EE-15.LPA etc. PEC is very supportive at time of placements.
Cost per year is around 3Lacs including everthing from mess to academics to hostels.I feel the money I invested was totally worth it as I am getting the exposrue of higher authorities of India as Almuni Network of PEC is very strong and high paying placements are always there in PEC.
Campus life is very best in north India, if you want campus life it's always preffered to join PEC over NIT Jalandhar if you want Campus life with the Royal life of Chandigarh, There are just unlimited clubs actively working in PEC and students are very encouraged in these activities,PEC is known for it's location and it's completey safe and can handle any type of emergency very easily
Amazing college with Amazing students
The infrastructure of the college is just okay since the college is really old. But it has all the adequate things in it. The college has infra for all sports, all the clubs and societies have good infrastructure. but still infra is far below any private college, like BITS, THAPAR.
Academics are just like any other govt. In college, you have to do things on your own. some teachers are exceptionally well and are great at teaching and at the same time, a few teachers are super strict as well.
Honestly, this is the best college for placements, especially if you are fOR the top branches. the average package for CSE is 24 while ECE is 21 LPA and EE is 15 LPA, and even other lower branches have a package of 10 lakhs average. so certainly this college has best ROI. 2023 BATCH
The fee for the 2022-2036 batch is around 13-14 lakhs including the hostel mess fee. and the fee is definitely worth it considering the placements.
Great college life, the curriculum is not very tough. you will definitely enjoy a lot here, plus the city is really vibrant
Personally , i feel very happy about choosing PEC.
The infrastructure of the institute is pretty old but well maintained . The hostels decent enough so giving a 3 star . Every hostel has Wi-Fi enabled but the academic building is equipped with jammers , so games in classrooms . The food is okayish for the first year hostels , but the mess food for the seniors is good enough .
So being an electrical engineering student from the first year , people from all the courses are same , but faculty review is average , you'll find good teachers and not so good teachers as well. Academics in the college totally depend on you yourself , So basically college teaches how to manage studies and co-curricular activities altogether . But if you seek support from the professors , you'll find some great profs here.
The placements here are the highlights of our college . You can find the statistics and numbers on the website and college websites as well . The average package for this year for electrical engineering was 16 lacs approx. So a good number as compared many NITs and other colleges in northern India . Placements here are better than NIT Kurukshetra , NIT Jalandhar and Chitkara University and other colleges.
The total approx. sum for four year hostellers is around 15 lacs(which includes 75k a year for hostel fee) , which is like the equal to the fee of several NITs these days. So it's kinda value-for-money colleges. Also you have to pay mess fee on montly basis which is around 3500/month.
The campus of PEC CHANDIGARH is spread around 150 acres . The area is utilized perfectly , the location in the perfect location in the city .V
The average person package offered to the students of Punjab Engineering college Chandigarh CSC is 6 lacs per annum. The highest salary package offered to one of the students is 46 lacs per annum. Microsoft, Rbs, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, Upg, rapidoare the major recruiters of Panjab Engineering College Chandigarh CSC students.
