Hii,

For 80 percentile your rank would be around 1,84,000. You could get few NITs and new IIITs. You may not get the the best NIT/IIIT or the best branches.

Even with category it wouldn't be possible to get admission in SVNIT, since the cutoff is very high nearly under 5000.

For predicting what colleges you can get with you percentile you can go through

You have another chance in September to score well and improve your marks and percentile. Make the best out of it and score well. You will get good branches in good colleges.

All the best

Hi dear aspirant, as you mentioned above that you got 80 percentile and also you belong to ST category . So according to your percentile your AIR will lie in between 170000to 240000 and your category rank will lie in between 5000 to 10000. So you have very less chance of getting a seat in SVNIT .
So i suggest you to give your next attempt very nicely and carefully so that you can score a good percentile . Hope it will help you.

81.02 percentile means your expected rank would be around 1,64,938. Now if the number of candidates in September session increases, your rank would also increase. There are certain criteria to apply for a College - if you are applying through Home State quota or All India quota, your category etc. NIT seats are usually get fillled within 40,000 rank. Going by last year's cutoffs, for chemical engineering for a general category candidate, it was 27255 through Home State Quota. Through other State quota the cutoff rank was 23698. So based on your score, it would be difficult to get into Chemical Engineering in SVNIT Surat. If you belong to any reserved category, you may have little chances. Hello there,
Since you are from the PWD category, your cut-off percentile is lower than the other categories. You can easily get admission for CSE in SVNIT with a good score. 70-80 percentile will be enough for getting admission into any good engineering college.
Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!
