The names OU indicates Osmania University region, if any of the candidates had studied his/her 9th and 10th standard or 11th and 12th classes, in Telangana, then that candidate is said to belong to OU region. The districts under OU region include, Khammam, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Hyderabad, Medak, Ranga Reddy, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, and Mahabubnagar.

AU region refer to Andhra University, if the candidate studies 2 years of intermediate course in Andhra Pradesh/ 9th and 10th standards in Andhra Pradesh, then he is said to belong to AU region. You get the chance in the final round of counselling only or mop up round counselling.
