Hey aspirant,
Did you mean MS Ramaiah?
MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT), is an autonomous, private Engineering college that is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), which is headquartered in BelgaumAlthough, VTU awards degrees, the college is free to frame its curricula and schemes of study. The college offers various undergraduate programmes in diverse streams like civil engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biotechnology, and medical electronics. It also offers MCA and MTech in different streams, in addition to providing research programmes in various departments that lead to PhD/MSc (Engineering).
Hope this helps,
All the best!

Hello aspirant,
Hope it helps!
Hello aspirant
When you are applying for any exam like UPSC CIVIL SERVICE ,PSC,SSC or any another exams you must specify your percentage marks of whole semesters (1–8).In vtu they count only first attempt marks for your degree percentage (5–8).It’s your degree whether it is FCD,FC,SC which is calculated by your first attempt marks in these semesters.Suppose someone gets back in some subject he/she got only 33 ,vtu calculate only 33marks for your degree whether your got 99 in next exam is not added. When you look at your 8th sem marks card it is written only first attempt marks . But when you are applying for any exam you must calculate your passing marks not the previous one. Because how can anybody get paas in 33 marks.
Hi Candidate,
Out station students or outstation candidates can be basically referred as those students who are not from the college state or simply those who don't have the domicile of the state where they are applying for Admission. Outstation candidates can also be considered as NRI students.
In such cases, where the Candidate is not a domicile of the state then he has to apply through the All India Qouta of seats for Admission. If the Candidate is NRI, then he can avail for the NRI qouta of seats only if the college offers reservation.
Hope that this answer helps you. All The Best!!
Dear Student,
Colleges whether they are, government run, private unaided, private aided etc, engineering colleges in Karnataka are affiliated to VTU with the exceptions of colleges such as, University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, National Institute of Technology Karnataka and Manipal Institute of Technology.
Hii there, when it comes to checking semester paper in college, it is not basically known to us. But generally in our colleges, if more than one college is affiliated to a university then marksheet are prepared by different colleges of that particular university. Answer sheets go to the university and then they re-distribute it. For your college it might happen that your professors check it. But not those who taught you in class to avoid partiality. I would suggest you to ask any senior. They might know your answer more specifically.
Good luck!!!
Hey aspirant,
As the college i.e, DAYANAND SAGAR COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING is an autonomous Institute so the exam paper and also the checking of it's done internally and not by the VTU.
HOPE IT HELPS.
GOOD LUCK.
Hey!
Autonomous are the colleges which are affiliated to some other universities (most of them are affiliated to vtu) but still they form their own syllabus and conduct their own exams. However, degree is provided by vtu. But According to me VTU is better compared to autonomous. Since VTU is upgrading its syllabus according to the requirement of the market or to the new technology and students also get vast knowledge about the subject or the course which they are studying.
Thank you
We have very good labs and infrastructure facilities. We have a physical library as well a virtual library, with a wide range of books available. We have a huge ground, indoor games room, basketball court, and a very good canteen. The food is very good. Campus is neat and hygiene.
There are all the necessary facilities in our college campus . All facilities are good, but the food served is not good. The hostel is very good in our college, and the girls' hostel is very secure here. Medical facilities are also available, and some sports and games facilities are available.
My college is having all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment such as sports arena, smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, swimming pool, gym, canteen, etc. The classrooms and libraries are very well-maintained and the hostels are great in design and comfortable. The living spaces are clean and food is healthy and hygienic.
