Golden days

Our college is not less than IIT standards. You have everything you want and also it's affordable to everyone.You have labs specifically dedicated to research works. There are special labs which are unique to this region.
Academics
This place is not a regular engineering college. In a semester you are encouraged to do 2-3 research works.So it's research oriented. This enhances your research skills and journal publishing skills. Also you can indulge in new works.
Placements
All top companies from various sector visits here. But you must prove yourself that you are worth it. Because heavy competition lies in front of you. The package is from 3.6lpa to 15lpa.Such a wide variety of jobs.
Value for Money
It's worth for the money and also the fess is around 30k per annum.(including all the fee). You may also get scholarship based on your financial level, community and academics. Again it's completely worth it.
Campus Life
You must love it to feel. There are many clubs where you can showcase your skills and various organization for social activities. You can involve in media, journalism, photography, art, music, dance, sportsetc..
Others
Overall it is a good one. But it is tough to enter here. You must be having high percentage and also good skills. These are considered at entry level only and then it is purely based on your knowledge and skills.

College Infrastructure
We have sophisticated lab, big library containing all referral books..class rooms will be neat and tidy.we have projector in all classes for easy way of teaching.we have a big play ground and gallery.
Academics
As i am interested in biology,I am studying biomedical engineering third year which comes under department of ECE in CEG,Anna University.The quality of teaching is good.The staffs are easily communicable and friendly.
Placements
The quality of placements is good and is based on cgpa.Many have been placed from our college with good salary.As i am in my third year i am not soo clear in telling about it.But intelligent and people with technical knowledge are being placed with good salary.
Value for Money
I am paying approximately 14000 for my course per semester.
Campus Life
My camps is too big and we all just love it.The greenary attracts everybody and it is being maintained.we have many techmical and non technical events which help students to exhibit their talents some are kurukshetra, techofes,agni..it will be the most enjoyable days..
Others
Utilising all opportunities can make us gain an experience and induces us to achieve success.CEG is one such place for success and enjoyment.

Have a question related to Anna University, Chennai ?
If your phone was caught during the arrear lab exam in Anna University, it is considered as malpractice. In such cases, the university can cancel your exam and may even cancel all the exams of that semester. They may also charge a fine or debar you from appearing in exams for some time. You will be called for an inquiry, and after that, the final decision will be given. It’s important to follow the university rules and respond properly to any notice they send.

Hello student,
Honestly speaking, with a cut off score of 133.5 in mbc category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the Anna university or in any government colleges, that too, if you wish for courses like CSE or ece, it is impossilbe. May be you can get textile engineering, but not in the first counseling for sure. You can get only private college with this cut off marks

dear student,
If you're from Andhra Pradesh, you can apply to Anna University under the Other State (OS) quota for B.E./B.Tech programs.
You must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths and secured at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories). Admission is based only on Class 12 PCM marks — no entrance exam like JEE or TNEA.
To apply:

Fill out the online form, upload documents (10th, 12th marksheets), and pay the fee (800+GST).

Submit the form and keep a printout for reference.
Seats for other state students are
limited and highly competitive
