BITSAT has no reservation policy be it for SC/ST or OBC, for any of its campuses. The cutoff is equal for all categories. Based on the previous year cut offs, there is very little chance for you to get any seat in any of the BITS campuses. However, you can still hope for a B.Pharm. branch in the Hyderabad Campus.
Hii dear,
According to your mentioned marks, you have almost negligibe chance of getting any branch in any campus, but according to last year data of Hyderabad campus the cut-off marks was:
And by comparing some previous year data then we found that the cut-off decreases generally . But, I suggest you to start searching for some other colleges rather than expecting of taking admission in BITS.
So, I wish you All the Best and choose your college wisely.
Thanks.
Hi Manan,
To get into Bits you have to give BITSAT exam. It has nothing to do with 12th class percentage.
BITS Pilani will conduct BITSAT 2019 from May 16 to 26 in online mode. A university-level exam, BITSAT is conducted every year for admission to Integrated First degree programs offered by the institute – B.E., B.Pharm., and M.Sc. Candidates who qualify in the entrance exam are offered admissions at any of the three campuses – Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. The entrance exam will be of three hours duration, comprising of 150 multiple choice questions divided into four parts. Each question will have four answer options, out of which only one will be the correct option. An interesting feature of the exam is if candidates are able to complete the entire quota of 150 questions without skipping, they can attempt an additional 12 questions to score higher.
The exam authorities have released the application form of BITSAT 2019 for the candidates who will appear in BITSAT 2019 with Mathematics only on May 18 and they should have passed the 12th class examination. The last date to submit the online application form is June 18. It was incumbent upon the candidate that they ensure they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria before filling the BITSAT application form 2019.
Hope this answers your query.
Best of Luck!
