Cut off list of BITS pilana 2017

Hello,

BITSAT is the exam conducted for admission in BITS. Last year's (2017) cut off marks were 334 for B.E. Mechanical while it was 294 and 382 for B.E. Civil and B.E. Computer Science respectively.

Obviously you should go with BITS Hyderabad in comparison with VIT vellore. Since both are good colleges but in compare among these two you definitely go with option BITS. If you didn't able to get your respective branch in BITS then only you should go with option VIT.

Yes surely. If you have sufficient marks to take admission in any of bits college you can change it.

My BITSAT 2018 Score is 316 can I get BITS? If yes then which branches?

Now the answer with the correct stats.

In Pilani campus, only MSc Biology and MSc Chemistry had cutoffs below 320.
Goa Mechanical cutoff was 322. So not an option.
Hyderabad CS cutoff was 347. So not an option.

I dont see the cutoffs dropping. Instead, they will increase. I would advise you to reconsider your options.

Is the level of mock test comparable to actual bits exam or actual is more difficult

Mock tests are usually at par or at higher level than the actual exam.
The key thing here is not only to give many mocks but also analysing each mock before proceeding to the next one

BE in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, ECE, CSE, manufacturing engineering
B. PHARM
M. Sc in Biological sciences, Economics, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

What are the possible options with a score of 240 in BITSAT 2k18 ?

Hi there, over the years there hasn't been much change in trend in the cut-off scores for BITS. So, you may pretty much expect a similar trend this year. The cut-off depend on the quality of the paper as well as the performance shown by the students appearing for the exams.

As per last year's cut-offs, with a score of 240 you can expect :

BITS Pilani : B.Pharm. / M.Sc. Biological Sciences
BITS Goa : M.Sc. Biological Sciences / M.Sc. Chemistry
BITS Hyderabad : B.Pharm / M.Sc. Biological Sciences / M.Sc. Chemistry / M.Sc. Physics / M.Sc. Mathematics

Nice infrastructure, AC class rooms, clean washrooms, well-maintained campus, pretty flowers everywher, pretty pretty snake path and last but not the least, how can I forget our iconic clock tower haha!!

College Infrastructure

As everyone know Birla institute of technology and science Pilani campus is best over all campus. It have a best infrastructure new and well furnished building and classes with AC and all facilities. Free wifi in all over the campus, well maintained hostels with security.

My experience at BITS is quite amazing and wholesome.

College Infrastructure

The college is well equipped, have best of infrastructure and amazing labs and workshops. The food points carter to everyone’s tastes and are open late night. The overall infrastructure of BITS pilani is good.
