After iiit Hyderabad, there is bits pilani,nit Warangal, nsut Delhi, nit Rourkela and nit kurukshetra. Apart from these there are many IITs like bombay, delhi, roorkee, Kharagpur, kanpur which are famous for their placements in cse branch.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper

Birla Institute of Technology and Science conducts an entrance exam named BITSAT every year to permit admission of students into different courses. The General Eligibility criteria that you should keep in mind is such that

• The candidates should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.
• The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) in 12th class examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects.

So for M.Sc Physics in BITS Pilani you need follow the above mentioned criteria and your admission will be based on your score obtained in BITSAT.

Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS) Pilani will release the BITSAT 2022 application form tentatively in last week of February however there is no official updates about it till now.  BITSAT 2022 registration link will be available online on the official website- bitsadmission.com. BITSAT is conducted by the authorities to offer admission into BTech courses across the 3 campuses of the University.

Once out you can follow these procedures to complete the application form:

Step 1- BITS Pilani Registration 2022

It is the first step in applying for admission to BITS Pilani. Students have to fill the BITSAT application form 2022 by providing name, gender, date of birth, nationality, mobile phone number and date of birth.

Enter all the required details and click on the submit button to complete the BITSAT 2022 registration.

The system will show a pop-up message with registration number upon successful registration.

Students will also receive messages on the registered email address and mobile phone number containing their Login ID and Password.

It is advised to note down the BITSAT 2022 registration number, login ID, and password in a diary. For all future login, candidates will have to use this login ID and password.

Step 2- Filling Detailed BITSAT Application Form 2022

After successful BITS Pilani Registration 2022 , students will be redirected to the application window. In the detailed BITSAT application form 2022, candidates have to provide details about the address, parents, class 12 examination details, and test city choice details.

Step 3- Uploading Scanned Photograph and Signature

Candidates have to upload the scanned images of their recent passport size colour photograph and signature. The scanned images have to be within the permissible size and format. No BITSAT application form 2022 will be accepted without the scanned images of asked details.

the choice depends on the choice of the student. it completely depends on whether the student is interested in maths. if the student is interested maths bsc and msc dual course is a very good choice, else you can also go for civil engineering dual course. both courses have different scopes and bsc maths could get you into the teacher role and engineering would let you into the corporate sector

BITS Pilani offeres direct admissions to stand out performers of intermediate examinations across the various educational boards. The institution offers direct admissions to toppers of each zone from PCM and PCB that are associated with CBSE or ICSE, all state boards and any other Central education Board. Since NIOS comes directly under MHRD, so Yes the toppers from this board would also be eligible to get direct admission into BITS Pilani. However you must note that the scholarship provided to these candidates is only for the first semester and after that it will be decided based upon their performance in academics.

For BITS Pilani DUBAI Campus there are no entrance test. The admission is entirely based on the aggregate score of 10+2.

A merit list is prepared in the descending order of the aggregate percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in the Qualifying Examination (12th grade or equivalent). Candidates are offered admission based on the merit in the qualifying examination, their programme preferences and availability of seats in each programme.

It is still difficult to predict any colleges as the cutoff varies every year and is different for different category students. The cutoff trends depends on various factors like number of students appeared in the examination, previous year cutoff trends, difficulty level of the paper etc.

3. Medium of Exam - English
4. Sections - Part I - Physics (40 questions), Part II - Chemistry (40 questions),  Part III - English Proficiency (15 questions) and Logical Reasoning                 (10 Questions), Part IV - Mathematics/Biology (45questions)
5. Type of Questions - Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
6. Total Number of Questions - 150 Questions
7. Marking Scheme - 3 marks will be given for every correct answer. 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect responses and no marks will be given for non-attempted questions.

It allows admission in 10 colleges associated with BITS. For applying in this exam you must passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry and maths as subject and minimum 75 % score.
