There is No management quota seats at BITS Pilani. They take admission on basis of their entrance exam called BITSAT .And if you are a board topper then you can get direct admission in BITS PILANI irrespective of your BITSAT score.

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, popularly known as BITS Pilani, was established in 1964.

BITS Pilani enjoys healthy placement drives. Almost 90 percent of its students get placed in top companies.

Bits Pilani is a privately funded institution unlike the IIT's and the NIT's. So the fees is higher than these government aided colleges.

BITS being a private college, is expensive to study in. The fees comes between 1lakh to 2 lakh a semester depending on the campus.

There are seven semesters in BTech in BITS.

The cut off of GATE score BITS pilani goes usually has higher than the campuses located at the other regions.For Goa campus the cut off for GATE is usually around 650-700 range for electronics communication branch and for pilani it is slightly higher than Goa.

The admission Fee is Rs. 39,800 & the fee for 1st semester is Rs. 1,78,000/- (This is only the sem fee and doesn't include hostel charges and other charges).

While the fees for

• first semester is around 1,99,000/-.
• Second semester is 1,99,000/-
• Summer term is 69,600/- ( only if applied)
• Students union fees is 225.
• Students Aid fees is 225.
• Hostel fees is 19000 for each semester and for summer term it's 9550.
