The college is in sync with the modern times. The campus is quite beautiful and peaceful. The classes are equipped with air conditioners and the whole campus has a Wi-Fi network that can be connected to anywhere. It has its own server where everything from study to movies are available. The library is state of the art with a modern 3-D printer too. The campus has various eateries to go to and the food is delicious. There are large cricket grounds and football grounds to play.
The study material is very interesting as it provides with enough knowledge so the the student can himself discover in which field he wants to go to. The curriculum has been taken from the MIT in US and is hence ok. Although a student has to be self-sufficient as the academics aren't enough to get a good placement.
The placements at the college are awesome. Companies like Google, facebook, amazon, microsoft, etc come here every year to recruit students. The average salary offered is 12-13 lakhs. Students also go for higher studies abroad at universities like MIT, Harvard,UC, etc.
The fees is quite high. It's safe to assume that you have to be a little wealthy to study here as compared to other colleges. But the peer group and interaction with the seniors is something that isn't in many colleges and hence if you can afford thr fees, there is no doubt that you'll be happy here. There is scholarship system too so you can avail it on the basis of your CGPA in your semesters.
The campus is just so beautiful. There is a museum inside the college. The sports grounds are well maintained and the gym is equipped with everything you'd need to exercise. The students are smart and hence the competition is quite high. The location is quite rural but the campus is going to let you feel that with its facilities. The teachers are amazing mentors both in studies and the path of life.
We have all the necessary infrastructure, up to date lab equipments. Classrooms are digital. Teaching via smart boards and presentations. Sport centred are very well maintained. Hostels are okayish. Cleaning done regularly. Food quality is good.
Market and industry oriented coursework. Curriculum still not updated much. Teaching quality is good, not excellent. Curriculum doesn't include latest developments in the field, but is industry oriented and hands-on.
Quality of placement declining by each passing year. Placement unit needs improvements. Most of the students get placed. No idea about the average salary. Still compared to our college's past reputation, placement has seen a downslide.
Yes. Surely it's value for money. Around 5 Lacs per year.
College campus, although small, but is very beautiful and well maintained. Location is quite odd, because it is located in a small city like Pilani.
Infrastructure of the college is amazing . However, the girls hostel and a few others are not pretty but are under renovation while most of them are done. This is why the living space is not so appealing. Most of the academic buildings and Library maintain Wi-Fi (also, the hostels) and air-conditioners. The institute is full with laboratory equipment , sport opportunities. The food is sure hygienic with rotating contracts.
I am studying dual-degree which stands a 5 year degree. It has M.Sc. degree and B.E.( which will be based upon C.G.P.A. of first year. The quality of teaching is amazing but we sure need to put efforts and practice stand out in the respective courses. The curriculum is highly updated with professors giving in insights and study analysis of the recent developments made. The institute also prepares us for real job world by organizing Practice schools programs twice in a degree.
The placements sure do stand out and keeps up-to being a prestigious institute in the country. More than 80% of students get placed every year. The highest packages of college went to students of Computer Science on a average of 1 crore rupees/annum . The average salary is around 11 lakhs/annum. The college has 2 placement seasons and are super pleasant. The college is very smooth to provide a minor degree for single degree students which can be helpful for non-core placements.
The college charges high-fees. Although it offers scolarships to students who can not afford and have a family income of less than 11 lakhs if they score a certain C.G.
The campus life is amazing as students get involved in any activity of their interest and are given platforms for academic and personality development. The location of campus is not friendly at all which reduces many likely scope of adventure and fun. Neither can it deal with extreme emergencies because the nearest big cities that connect Pilani across are Delhi and Jaipur each 4 hours away.
The campus is so big as it is spread around 328 acres in area and fully developed and modified by all the necessary facilities. The infrastructure is urban and surrounded by greenery .Many initiative are taken to keep campus well updated .There are total of 9 hostel including boys and girls hostel both.Other facilities such as sports,Library ,Cafeteria everything is good.
Birla institute of technology is someway strict in attendance and other academic related assignments.Tutorials classes are held for students in which doubts are cleared and student can go in deep of concepts by asking questions in tutorial class.Assignment work is too heavy ,professors assign projects on every topic to gain practical knowledge of which marks are also included in examination.Curriculum is made very well as student does not feel burden and complete 4 year very nicely .
In terms of placements,Birla institute of technology is one of the best college in India. It is given rank in top 10 by Nirf also.Major companies like Adobe ,Amazon and Microsoft visits the campus for placing students .Basically average package for branches like cs and Ec are 14lpa and 80-85 percent of students are placed every year .Internships are also offered to students in 3rd year so they can apply things in job also.
The fees of birla institute of techno!ogy is very high as it costs around 1lakh 65 k for one semester which is very much .There is some hike every year In fees .Placements are best so fees charged by college is perfect.Academics and other facilities are also top rated and it is one of the best private colleges In India.

Clubs are always active such as aeromodelling club,Robotics and coding related clubs .Various festivals are celebrated with joy and happiness .Campus gives you feel of different world and different people around you .
Our college is situated I'm pilani,Rajasthan In remote areas away from city.Everything is well ,professors ,Hods and seniors are supportive and helping in nature .Students get a path for skill development in this college.
College infrastructure is excellent. There are total 9 hostels for boys and girls. Rooms are spacious. Hostels have facilities like gym, magazine distribution, badminton court, gardens, balconies in each room, vending machine, coffee machines, etc. Institute's Facilities like library, labs, gym and sports ground, medical center, food courts, washrooms, student activity center, audi and classes are maintained and multiple initiatives are taken to keep it updated.
BITS's most unique feature is it's zero attendance facility. It's curriculum is made keeping in mind the current requirement for student's education. All assignments and exams are announced priory. Tests are done in tutorial classes, where it can be unannounced or announced. Teachers are incredibly helpful and encouraging. And many seminars are arranged to strengthen the teacher-student bond. The curriculum is made so as to not burden the student and also increase the knowledge.
Placements statistics are amazing. Recognised companies like axis bank, HDFC Bank, Facebook (UK), Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Cisco, JP Morgan, Microsoft, nestle, oracle and many more came to recruit eligible students. 82% of students are placed every year and an average salary package is 14lpa. Placements are done twice a year. It also offers internships to students twice in their course time, where they get the hand on experience of work culture in different cooperations.
BITS fee for one semester was 1,59,000 INR in 2018-2019. There's a total of 15% fee hike every year. Components for fees was admission fees, semester fess, students' union fees, students' aid fund, hostel fees, mess and electricity fees. The facilities and environment provided are worth the fee amount.
Campus life is great. There's no late night curfew for both boys and girls. Institute has three main fests: BOSM( sport's fest), Oasis (cultural fest), and Apogee (tech fest). Then there are different clubs and departments which recruit students on basis of their skills and interests. There are workshops, cultural association nights, seminars, festival celebrations, movie screening, blood donation camps, book festivals, etc which helps in indulging students of different interests.
Although BITS pilani is located in a discrete location away from all the hustles of city, it provides all the features required for a student. The environment and the facilities provided are excellent and there's no gap between students and teachers. Teachers are friendly and try to solve every possible problem, be it a personal or professional problem. The environment provided results as key factor for the development of student's behaviour.
Congratulations on your outstanding achievement of scoring 99.5 percent in Class 12th with full marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. This is an exceptional academic performance, and it places you among the top-performing students in the country. BITS Pilani does offer direct admission to students who are toppers of their respective Class 12 boards. If you are officially declared as the topper of your board (for example, CBSE, ISC, or the Andhra Pradesh state board), you may be eligible for direct admission to the BITS campus of your choice, without appearing for the BITSAT exam. This direct admission is offered to board exam toppers as a special privilege, and it allows them to choose the program they wish to pursue. However, scoring 99.5% alone does not guarantee direct admission unless you are confirmed as the overall board topper. If you are indeed the topper, you should visit the official BITS admission website and apply through the dedicated board topper admission process. You will need to submit proof of your board rank and relevant academic documents as part of the application. If you are not the board topper, then you will need to appear for BITSAT, but your strong academic background should give you a good foundation for success in the entrance exam.
Best of Luck.
Dear candidate
BITS Pilani offers 5% reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) in each program. Candidates must have a valid disability certificate with at least 40% disability. Admission is based on BITSAT score and meeting eligibility criteria.
HELLO,
If you appeared in both attempts of BITSAT, and your lower score is being shown instead of the higher one , here are some suggestion that can helps you:-
BITS Pilani clearly mentions that the higher of the two scores(Attempt 1 and Attempt 2) will be considered for admission
However , after Attempt 2, BITS uploads the latest score first. The final selection will be made using the higher score out of both
You can follow these steps to check:_
1.Login in to your BITSAT candidate portal and check both scorecards (Attempt 1 and for Attempt 2)
2.If it is still showing only the lower score wait until the admission application portal updates after result normalization
Hope that Helps!
