Congratulations for a good result in CMAT!!
Last year the cutoff for BIT, Mesra was somewhere around 45 percentile in CMAT. So, yes you have very strong chances of getting a call from this institute (provided you had filled its form).
You now need to work hard for its GD and PI which would rather be quite competitive. But do not worry because all the students who appear for GD-PI are more or less on the same level.
Have an idea of what's been happening in and around the country in the past few months, few eye catching news, general topics for GD ranging from abstract to science or fiction to non-fiction.
Interview will be either HR based pertaining to what you have done in your past or academics based.
Had you mentioned about your academics and past records, I would have been able to give you a more specific picture. Nonetheless, this is a generalised view of GD-PI.

Hi,
There are many institutes for preparation of CAT. I have provided the list of some of the best institutes:
- Bull's Eye- They have both regular classroom preparation and online preparation products.
- Byju's Classes- They have both regular classroom preparation and online preparation products.
- Carrer Launcher
- MBAguru
- TIME
- IMS
You can prefer any one of them. But your self study is also important along with the classes.

In order to apply in Birla Institute of Technology for BCA programme you must have passed Class 12th with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwD) marks with English and Mathematics/Computer Science / Information Practice as subjects in the qualifying examination. BITS offers Integrated M.Sc. programmes in Food Technology [with exit option after 6 semesters - B.Sc. Degree] but there is no course for BTech food technology.

On safer side any score above 710+ or 96+ Percentile is considered safe for targeting top end colkeges with excellent Placements and Internship Opportunities.
For all Average collegs ,scores of 550-600 is well enough and for Tier One colleges a score of 600-700 is must.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is not upto the mark as it should be in Btech Colleges. The Buildings are once made and never looked back.Only Good thing is Library .BIT Patna offers modern infrastructure with well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, a central library, Wi-Fi campus, hostels, and sports facilities, providing a good learning environment. College Infrastructure
Birla institute of technology , mesra , boasts one of the most spacious and beautiful campuses in India , spread over 780 acres of greenry. The college infrastructure is well developed and caters to both academic and extra curricular activities. Classrooms are clean, well equiped and are aided with good modern facilities like projectors and smart boards. The library is massive and house thousands of books and digital resources from students of all streams. The institute has also great sports infrastructure that includes cricket, football and almost all indoor games including badminton , table tennis ,etc. The environment is peaceful and inspiring helping students to focus on their academics as well as personal growth. Hostel food and occasional maintanance is the only negative part that is dominant. Overall, BIT Mesra offers an ideal setting for a balanced college life with everything a student may need, right within the campus.

The infrastructure here is quite impressive. The classrooms are well-equipped, and while the labs have the basic tools you need. You'll find air-conditioned classrooms.The hostels are generally considered spacious and well-maintained, with daily cleaning, and each has its own dining hall. They also have night canteens, which is convenient. The college has a good library, fast Wi-Fi all over the campus, a medical center, and sports facilities. However, a few folks have suggested the cafeteria could use a facelift and that some washrooms might need better hygiene.
