They provide a 3-year full-time program specifically aimed at students who aspire to be chefs and embrace careers in Kitchen Management & Restaurant Entrepreneurship. The B.Sc. Culinary Art program aims at providing fundamental education in kitchen operation, food and beverage operation, management, production and service. Graduates also gain exposure to industry-specific skills – safe food handling, food presentation and proper use of equipment. Students are also given a good understanding of purchasing, storage and handling of a wide range of food products, along with an understanding of Management Principles of commercial and non-commercial food service operations.

IF we go through the fees of both college then not same  like as per you had mentioned CGC college fees is 45k per semester  then its mean 1 year fees iss 90K and if we calculate 4 years then it will 3 lakhs 60thousand and Chitkara  University having 80K per semester mean 6laks 40k for 4 years btech course .

Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran was established in 2001 with approved by AICTE, PCI, NCTE ,Affiliated To PTU Jalandhar  and Accreditation by NAAC-A, NBA .They also offer placements facilities CGC has made its place by conducting 2500 placement drives for its students by offering 65,000 offers. Many renowned companies like Amazon, Wipro, Cognizant, Panasonic, IBM, Cipla, Axis Bank, Polaris and many more companies have started visiting CGC to get best students and offered up to 31.77 Lakhs p.a.

If we go through the chitkara University then they also provides same facilities like CSE landran but i personally go through the students review and rating so i will recommended Chitakara University due to placements facilities is little bit high rather then CGC .

But both of the colleges are good for career growth with highly scopes .

See if you are interested in fighting against natural calamities like fire outrage or some cylinder blasts then you should go for Fire and safety engineering. Genuinely saying there is no scope in Fire and Safety engineering other than fire safety service so, if you are placement oriented then you should not go with this course in any of the college but if you want to pursue further studied after completing graduation then you can take this and later on you can go with MBA like courses.

If we talk about any specific college like you have asked for Chitkara University so University is good but course is not.

But the ultimate decision should be yours.

Chitkara University all the way because,

1. Good crowd unlike the pendu crowd at CGC
2. Well informed, educated and dedicated teachers
3. The education module which focuses more towards the industry needs and personality development
4. No system of admission upon donation unlike CGC Landran that takes 1L Rs.
5. Strict and Effective administration,primarily due to the presence of retired defence officers at key positions
6. Most importantly, the chancellor and pro-chancellor being honored educationists
7. And due to 0 presence of political leaders in the university board, I would say the university isnt corrupted with Black Money !
8. And above all, strong Placement cell which has strong ties with big industry names for placing srudents

BOTH COLLEGES ARE GOOD FOR PLACEMENTS YOU HAVE TO WORK HARD AND DEVELOP SKILLS.

Both Punjabi University and Chitkara University are average engineering colleges of India. But in terms of exposure and opportunities Chitkara University will be good to join than Punjabi University. The placement percentage of Chitkara is pretty good. The recruiting companies offer around 4 lpa as an average package and the highest offer till now is 31 lacs while the average salary offered in Punjabi University is almost 2.5 lpa. Moreover Chitkara has been ranked at 50th position among universities. So Chitkara would be better join in terms of exposure, opportunities and placement. As you want to know that which university is better for btech cs branch then i will suggest Chitkara university,Patiala. As I have search its official website then according to comparison Patiala is better.

There are some important things about university:-

FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES

Fee structure is average or more than average as per facilities given in the college such as WiFi, air conditioned classes, library (charges 2rupees/day for a single book if date of return has expired). Library staff is very strict regarding the rules and regulations of the library. Three playgrounds but none of them is levelled.

HOSTEL FACILITIES

Very big hostels 6-7 hostels are there separate for girls. Very great life of hostels. Ragging free outsiders not allowed even the day scholars are not allowed to enter the hostels. Security guard at each gate of every hostel checking bags of hostellers while checking into the hostel every time coming from outside the hostel.

• FACULTY

  There are staffrooms alloted to the teachers. You can contact them anytime you want just not in the lunch time. Every block has a Dean (supervisor of all the activities going in the block). If any teacher refuses to listen to the problem or you have any issue regarding the teacher contact the Dean.

• CAMPUS LIFE

  Labs are held every sem. in every sem we have a lab subject(bee, deld etc). Also workshops are held time to time for sharpening your skills in other fields such as welding, making circuit s etc. Sports competition held time to time you will be notified when there is any tournament. Also our college has NCC camp if you want to join you can join in 1st and 2nd year of b. Tech because 3 years time is required for NCC.

The fee structure is a little expensive. The mode of payment criteria is easy though. The admission fees is around 10,000 and the semester fee is 80,000rp per semester which makes 1.6lacs per year. Being a private university, the fee structure is a bit expensive for medium class people.

• B.Des in Animation
• B.Des in user experience

If we go through overall rating of Chitkara university then it is 4 out of 5 and almost it is good college for infrastructure,placement ,education but for bdes placement is little bit low rather then other course .

chitkara university is a government-recognized university  as per the Sections 2(f) and 22(1) of the UGC Act, 1956.

As Btech Student first think they lock placement

*Placements for the year 2019-20 has been better. the highest  package of offered is 31 lacs .
