Hello aspirant
Congratulations for getting such good marks in gujrat board. In gujrat engineering colleges 50% seat is filled through ACPC counselling which happen after GUCET only for PCM gujrat board students. and 50% through Jee mains which is open for all board students.
ACPC merit marks is calculated from combining 40% of your percentile of your GUJCET marks and 60% of your percentile of PCM 12th Board Marks. You will get top college with top brach if you have alteast  80% marks in GUCET..
All the best.

Hello!

Both VIT and DAIICT are considered prestigious institutes for engineering.

But it largely depends on the branch you want to choose.

VIT takes into consideration VITEEE marks whereas DAIICT considers boards and GUJCET marks. Also JEE mains marks to some extent.

So it so depends on the rank ypu are getting for each of these and according to that, what branch you are taking in which institute.

Over all, considering the NIRF rankings of 2020,

VIT is in the top 40 amongst engineering colleges, whereas DAIICT does not have a considerable ranking this year.

Hope this helps.

Hello twinke,
DAIICT gandhinagar is one of the best college in gujrat for engineering and as 50%seat is filled through GUCET and only 35% seat of total is all India quota seat.if you belong to gujrat then there is some chance of getting admission but for students outside gujrat it's tough to get admission with 92 percentile as previous year it's closes at 96.89 percentile.
Since September jee is going on try to improve your percentile and best of luck for your exam.
For more information about DAIICT visit https://www.google.com/amp/s/dqxeclau.top/university/dhirubhai-ambani-institute-of-information-and-communication-technology-gandhinagar/amp
Hope this helps!

Hello aspirant,

Dhirubhai ambani-iict which in Gandhi nagar in gujarat and nirma university which is in Ahmedabad and compare to both daiict MnC course and nirma university cse course .MnC course means mathematics and computing course involves all mathematics ,statistics and computer and you can cover both the ends but in this cour we will have both 50percent maths and 50percent computing side as in cse we have maximum percent of computer means under coding sidd and less of maths if have good math skills and coding skills prefer MnC if have good coding skills then prefer cse in both of the courses cse course is bit easy comparatively but as MnC is upcoming course and have bright future and will have good growth in future for this courseso my suggestion its better to prefer daiict MnC and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.

Thank you !!

Hello Chitranshi

Congrats on getting such a good score. You have not mentioned your category so I will assume you to be from general category. The cutoff rank of DAIICT (JEE) is around 13000. With your percentile your rank must be around 18000 hence it will be difficult for you to get a seat there (if you are from general category). However for more details you can visit https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor . All the best!

Hello,

Actually DAIICT conducting their admission through JEE MAIN marks. But if there is seats availability after filling through JEE MAIN then the rest of the seats are filled by the GUJCET rank. 50% seats also reserved for the candidates who does schooling in gujrat. So minimum of 69% marks in gujcet is enough to get enter there.

Hope for the best.

Thank you.

Dear Mufaddai,

Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and communication Technology (DAIICT) is one of the best college in Gujarat for ICT. Every year , it is having high cutoff.

With 99.69 percentile in JEE , you can definitely  get admission there.

NOTE: there are limited seats for admission through All India category (JEE).

here is the link for that , https://www.daiict.ac.in/admissions/undergraduate/all-india-category/

It is very likely you will get admission but ,You have to wait for JEE-2 ,  it might change the overall percentile and the cutoffs.

Thank you and all the best for your admission.

Hello,

The ACPC cuttoff for DAIICT for MNC is

(GUJCET)

for general category: 215

for OBC: 690

for SC/ST: around 20k

(JEE MAINS)

for general category: 1.5k to 2.5k (cs/IT)

these statistics are of the previous year. However, it will be around the same lines this year. please check their official website for further details.

hope this helps!

Hi Namrata Shah,

The total percentage of seats reserved for jee main students in Daiict colleges is very less.

Out of the 300 seats, 150 seats are allocated through the state counselling process called ACPC and rest through All India Quota for which a rank list is being prepared based on the JEE main by the Institute. Also you rank should be lie in around CRL AIR 15000-18000 to get a seat in Daiict college .

So, You need to score more than 170-180 marks in JEE Mains exam to get DAIICT College.

Hope this helps.

Hello Aspirant!!

You need at least 100+ score in GUJCET so that you can have 99+ percentile in GUJCET, and talking about the board score, I will categorize it for you depending upon your board of education.

If you are a GSEB Student

You need at least 270+ marks in PCM combined (out of 300) so that you secure 99+ percentile here as well

And if you are a CBSE Student

You need at least 229+ marks in PCM combined (out of 240) to seek 99+ percentile.

Whatever may happen, merit marks above 99 only will give you admission in DA, if you are a general candidate.

Hope it helps you
