Dear Aspirant, according to me CSE Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Kottayam is better than IIIT Nagpur and IIIT Dharwad as the placement and research work are much better in IIIT Kottayam than the other two and also IIIT Kottayam is old and reputed. See both the institutes you have mentioned are great in terms of infrastructure and academics. Now on the basis of placements conditions, I would recommend you to go for the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering course over Metallurgy, because the placement rates are better for the course of ETE in IIIT Nagpur compared to that of NIT NAGPUR. Also the packages are better than that of that NIT Nagpur. So from a employability point of view it would be always better for you to go for the IIIT Nagpur.

With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that coding culture in top tier-1 colleges like NITS,IIITs and IITs are very good due to very hardworking and dedicated students but if you want to choose then IIIT nagpur can be a good option due to well developed buildings and good network area .Well organized labs equipped with latest technology . The average package goes around 8 lakhs per annum and highest is around 45  lakhs

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur (IIITN) is one amongst the new Indian Institutes of Information Technology started in 2016 established under the Public-Private Partnership Scheme by the Ministry of Education (erstwhile Ministry of Human Resource Development), Government of India. IIITN has been declared as an “Institution of National Importance” under the provisions of the Indian Institute of Information Technology.

IIIT Nagpur has very good placements in CSE, and that placement rate is above 80%. In the ECE branch, it is 56%. The average salary package offered here is around 8.85 LPA. Top companies like Goldman Sachs, etc.

IIT NAGPUR - the college was set up in 2016 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India and the partners are Government of Maharashtra, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Mumbai.

It was established under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. Presently, IIIT Nagpur is operating from a temporary campus at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited's Regional telecom training centre and the permanent campus is under construction.

according to the reviews , all the students are provided with good facilities and good teachers to accompany with. Along with that there are labs, library among other things. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. Since the college has a partnership with TCS so Tata Research and Development Wing is the top recruiter.

NOW  IIIT sricity as it is a new IIIT, it's performing far better than other IIITs. This year, placements were 100% as per college. The highest salary package offered was around 44 LPA, and it was provided by Amazon Luxembourg. The average salary package offered in CSE is 12 LPA, and for ECE, it is 8 LPA.

as these two branches are new facilities are increasing day by day but Sricity has better placement cell than the latter.

The seat allotment of IIITs Depends on factors like Community, Category, Gender. It is very difficult to predict which college you could get as cutoff changes every year. But if we see in 2020, the EWS rank of last student in gender neutral category was 6705 in IIIT Nagpur. While in IIIT Sricity, the EWS rank of last admitted student was 6551.

hope you are doing great. As per your query  I would glad to tell you that IIIT nagpur will be much better option to persue btech in cse due to its good nirf ranking and strong alumi network . It has very well maintained infrastructure having labs occcupied with the latest technology , faculities are also very expeirenced . In placement drive , almost 90 percent of the students get placed with an average package of 8 lakhs and highest went upto 45 lakhs

Though both the colleges are quite good in terms of everything but IIIT nagpur take edge in many things like infrastructure , coding culture is little better than IIIT chittoor , and good qualifying faculties . The average package goes around 8 lakhs and highest went upto 25 lakhs
