Hello,

Yes you can take a double major in chemistry and Physics but will not be able to complete it 4 years, need 5 years,  since you will have to do two separate projects leading to two bachelor's thesis, one in chemistry and  the other in physics. However, unless you can copy  yourself, time warp make yourself speedy , it will be practically impossible to take a chemistry , physics double major off. Basically struggle is real to complete only one with the coursework and the project.

Hope for the best.

Thank you.

Hello,

You can pursue M.Sc. Biological Science from IITs and IISC but you must also appear for Biotechnology, because there are more seats in IITs for Biotechnology, and no seat for Biological Sciences in IITs. You will only get admitted to NIT Rourkela or IISc with Biological Sciences.

I hope this helps.

Good day, there!

The comparison is difficult because both IITs and IISC provide excellent opportunities for research and higher education.

People tend to gravitate toward IISC since it is a centre for researchers and research.

Although admission to these universities is through the IIT-JAM, only after counselling can one determine whether they would be admitted to IIT or IISC.

As a result, plan ahead.

Both the Indian Institute of Science and the Indian Statistical Institute in Bangalore are excellent colleges to go for higher education.

Both colleges are government institutions with a strong placement record. Indian Institute of Science, on the other hand, is rated higher by students than Indian Statistical Institute.

If you could offer the Honors/Major you wish to pursue in Bachelors of Science, the comparison could have been better and more precise. If at all feasible, please mention it in the comments.

Hello there!
The comparison is tough as both IITs and IISC give real good scope for research and higher learning.
Although people generally move towards IISC as its the hub for researchers and research.
Although entry to these institutions is via IIT-JAM and post counseling only one can know if they are getting into IIT or IISC.
So prepare well.
Good Luck!

Hi, hope you are doing well!

Both Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore are some of the very good colleges for pursuing higher studies.

Both the colleges are government colleges and good placement history. However, as per the student reviews and ratings Indian Institute of Science is better than Indian Statistical Institute.

College Infrastructure

Our college provides excellent Wi-Fi. The labs have good computers. Classrooms are clean and have good lighting effects. The library has many books. The good part is that they allow us to borrow for many days, and the penalty is less for late submissions. Every odd semester, we have a fest. The hostel is not very good, and the food is not good.
