The general category cutoff for IIISC BANGALORE in 2016 was 295 marks and in 2017 it was around 280 marks. Marks keep fluctuating year to year as they depend on various factors like number of candidates appearing and also the paper level. So you can rely on ranks. You approximately need general rank under 1-300. So actually you need to be a lot dedicated and focused if you want to get into IISC BANGALORE.

to get admission in iisc you need to qualify in either kvpy or neet and jee main exam. as cutoff scores are different for different exam, it is really impossible to predict. however scoring around 90+ in kvpy has great chances for selecting in bsc course in iisc.

Actually IISC Banglore doesn't offer any btech programme. It offers  undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs in various disciplines of science and technology. IISc Bangalore, on any day. IISc is the best institute for research in India and both the topics you have mentioned are fall under the cap of research. Different courses in mtech have different Cutoffs in cse and so on an average you must score a rank less than 100 to get a seat in IISC.
