Hello Shashwat. If you are research oriented, then there is no better place than IISC. Yes, B.pharma from ICT is great, if you are looking for a job post your course completion. But, for doing research in drugs and medicines, I would suggest you to go for BS from IISC, since the research facilities and faculties are way better than any place in India.

Hope this helps.

All the best.

Hello BALAJI SHANMUGAM

For Getting into IISc Bangalore through JEE Mains you need to score atleast a rank under 6K-7K in general category. If you score a rank of 7-8k in General category then your OBC rank might be eligible to get into IISc.

But with 72.98 percentile i dont think your rank would be even under 50K.

So, NO chance at all!

Hope that helps!

Hi,
Definitely you are eligible. You have to take GATE paper in Aerospace Engineering. According to GATE eligibility criteria, you should complete your BTECH or BE degree any stream. You can apply for any stream rather than your stream.

Aerospace Engineering is totally different. So first of all know about the syllabus for Aerospace Engineering, then you prepare for GATE.

Hi There !

I am providing you the link for the previous years and expected for this year cutoffs of various colleges (including IISc)  that take admission on the basis of JEE MAINS Examination. Visit the link and know your chances :-

hello aspirant,

see your score is really good to get in iisc. there is a course programme in iisc like bachelor of science programme which is a research oriented programme. the admission of this course is done by neet, kvpy, jee advance .

Hello Akshaya,

JEE Main 2019 qualified cutoff is 44.3345172 as ST category. Based on this rank the chances are less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs however you can check your admission possibilities in state level counselling with JEE Main College Predictor tool.

Good Luck!

Hello Dear
No, unfortunately you can't be able to take the admission in the IISc Bangalore because of the two factor, first is your Class 12th percentage is not enough to lead you to the zone of IISc because as per the eligibility criteria demands it should be more than 75% and secondly you're percentile in the JEE mains entrance exam are not sufficient to lead you to the IISc zone , so better you can try to other engineering institute.
All the best

Hi Sachin ,  It is difficult for you to take admission in IISC with this rank. Because cutoff rank rank for SC category is 5000.

Thanks.

Hello Sir/Madam,
Unfortunately the required percentage for 12th class to qualify for JEE in General category is 75%. Since she has scored less than 75% she is not eligible for NIT and other top engineering colleges. I would suggest taking a drop or write other competitive exams where 12th marks are not considered.

College Infrastructure

Our college provides excellent Wi-Fi. The labs have good computers. Classrooms are clean and have good lighting effects. The library has many books. The good part is that they allow us to borrow for many days, and the penalty is less for late submissions. Every odd semester, we have a fest. The hostel is not very good, and the food is not good.
