Hi,
You must try and score at least 33.99 in Biological Sciences paper. This was the cut off for 2017 which dipped this year. Since we are not sure about the cut off for next year, which usually sees a rising trend, give your best shot.
All the best!

dear Loku raj,
Some of the opportunities I’ll highlight :
Bachelor Degree (BS) : Through JEE.
M.Tech degree : Through stellar GATE score + interview.
MS/M.Tech (Research) : Relatively lesser GATE score & a good background of research+ interview/test.
MSc : Through JAM examination.
(RA)Research Assistant/Associate : Hardcore Research/Project background + valid GATE (sometimes).
hope you got your answer .
GOOD LUCK :)
If you graduate from IISc and decide not to pursue Phd, then organizations like ISRO, BARC, CSIR, DRDO, HAL, CEERI, TIFR and other R&D government organizations will definitely pick you up. Apart from that there are many R&D private companies like Hindustan Lever, IBM, Microsoft, Google, Biocon, etc.
There is a lot of scope for jobs outside India like Germany, USA and other European countries where R&D is given much more importance than in India.
IISc is very well known outside India and the tagname of IISc will help you getting a good job.
After doing Phd (which becomes easy once you graduate from IISc), the academic line is also opened for you.
Some people may say that job prospects after graduating from IISc are not very good but I can't believe that a graduate from the institute which is best ranked in India can't manage to get a well paying job
all the best
Iisc is top ranked science institute IN INDIA. Iisc campus look very natural and have lots of trees and plants. Technical and scientific facilities are advanced level, and have best quality research instruments, and laboratory such as NMR, TEM, FESEM, CROSSMAN me helical testing microCT and duper computer facilities hostels, library and sports facilities also good
Colege infrastructure, facilities and equipments are of top notch . We also have smart classes Best in class Laboratories. And we also have gym and hostels . Only downside is that hostels dont have Wifi.
Our college provides excellent Wi-Fi. The labs have good computers. Classrooms are clean and have good lighting effects. The library has many books. The good part is that they allow us to borrow for many days, and the penalty is less for late submissions. Every odd semester, we have a fest. The hostel is not very good, and the food is not good.
