see first of all, where are your interest it will help today and tommarrow also.

take desicion in right direction where you can do best of you. kvpy is field of science and iit is field of technology.

What after BSc(Research) Mathematics in IISC Bangalore?Can I opt for GATE or get a MS in engineering from any university abroad

Yes you can take up both the options namely:-

1. GATE for Mtech
2. GRE & TOEFL for MS from countries like US Canada

Both options have very good return on investment if done from top colleges.

You can go for MS with Specialization into Statistical modelling which is very relevant to your aptitude and interest. some top notch roles include Data Scie tist, Chief Technology officer, Machine Learning Consultant, Artificial intelligence Engineer , etc.

Mtech from top institutions like IITs or NITs will land you similiar roles.

If one is able to get into IISC Bangalore,what are the courses that he may apply for?Is there something related to Engineering

IISC Banglore founded in 1909 has been legacy brand and has been ranked in top 100 Institution in the world.

Unfortunately, IISc doesnt offer any Btech courses, you can only opt for Bsc courses where you can take up Engineering electives from 4th, 5th, 6th semester.

You need to take Admission using JEE main & advance, or KVPY.

If you're looking out for only Btech/ BE you should take up Top IITs, or NITs or IIITs.

Then, you can take up Mtech/ ME at IISC Banglore, which is of highest repute and Placements have been rock solid.

Does iisc bangalore offers genetic engineering course?

If you are asking for UG courses then the college does not provide any engineering courses in genetics. It has biology course in which one of the stream is genetics.

What is one's future after he completes a BSc course from IISC Bangalore?What type of jobs and pay salaries do they get?

The placement cell of IISc Bangalore works extensively and after you complete your Bsc course from IISC Bangalore you can apply for Research assistant or project assistant in various institutes.

You can initially expect a package of 20K per month.

Also if you do not get a good placement after your degree you can plan to do internship in good institutes or related firms and later get good job profiles with attractive packages for sure.

Hello sir, can I know what are the opportunities a student gets after he studies at IISc or any such institutions

The college offers unmatched range of technical expertise and large talent pool in fields of Electrical, Mechanical, Physical, Mathematical, Biological, Chemical discipline.
The placement here are simply amazing with average salary for Engineering grads at 8lpa ro 12lpa and for Postgraduate students average goes upto 15lpa.
Last year two students have bagged 1crore plus packages from department of comp scienece and automation.
Overall 100 %placement record observed.

Sir after iit jam exam if I want to go iisc and in case I can not get admission so,can I appear for IIT in other institute in same year.

Yes, you can participate in all the colleges which are the partipating institutes so through IIT-Jam you can get admission in IISC and if you dont get seat there then IITs and other institutes will be there for you so you can apply if you meet the cut off.

Iisc is top ranked science institute IN INDIA. Iisc campus look very natural and have lots of trees and plants. Technical and scientific facilities are advanced level, and have best quality research instruments, and laboratory such as NMR, TEM, FESEM, CROSSMAN me helical testing microCT and duper computer facilities hostels, library and sports facilities also good

Colege infrastructure, facilities and equipments are of top notch . We also have smart classes Best in class Laboratories.And we also have gym and hostels . Only downside is that hostels dont have Wifi.

College Infrastructure

Our college provides excellent Wi-Fi. The labs have good computers. Classrooms are clean and have good lighting effects. The library has many books. The good part is that they allow us to borrow for many days, and the penalty is less for late submissions. Every odd semester, we have a fest. The hostel is not very good, and the food is not good.
