Hello Kiritvankadi
All 3 of them are excellent colleges with very good ratings and infrastructure and faclilities but the difference in fees is very great for IIT Ropar the fees is Rs 8.60 lakh for 4 years, for IIST the fees is Rs 1.8 lakh for 4 years but if you keep scoring above 8 SGPA you don't have to pay any academic fees ,for BITS Pilani the fees is Rs 16.5 lakh for 4 years and in terms of placement the median salary for IIT Ropar is Rs 11.20 lakh per annum, for IIST it is 9.15 lakh per annum and for BITS it is Rs 13 lakh per annum. So you choose a college according to the stream you will like to do I will also advise you to compare the colleges using the college compare and check out by yourself i will provide the link for that i will even provide the link for all 3 colleges so you can check them out in details which will help you even more

Hello Ravi Kumar,
I can understand your confusion since all are good institutes for pursuing Aerospace Engineering.
Yes, IITK has an airstrip and a hangar equipped with 4/5 gliders. You can go in anytime and see those gliders. There is one whose skin has been ripped off so that you can see the structural arrangements of the glider. You get to have joy rides as well.
I cannot compare the research facilities of IITR ,IITR ,IIST and IITK ,since I don’t have complete information about IITM. Besides, it would be unjust to compare the research facilities since both institutions have focus on different areas of research.
I hope it helps you.
Hello There ,
You have good chances to get the seat in the later rounds. Although you can also get the seat in spot round , getting a seat in spot round depend on how many students show up for the spot round , so you do have good chances to get a seat.

Hello Aspirant,
You need to mention which branch you were allocated to in your first round.Well as per last year's cut-off the branch's cut-off range from 4978-29337,however in the first round generally you are given a college somewhat different from what you will get at the end.I don't know what is your rank but within the given range and considering your rank or considering your rank above the given range of ranks you have chances at colleges like-
But the thing is many other things come into play like Home State quota and many other things. So I would like to suggest our college predictor app to find out which colleges you have chance at-

Hello,
If you have a strong Passion for space /Aerospace engineering/Avionics , then you can choose IIST
If you don't have a specific interest, then you can go IIT to have many other Options
B.TECH COURSES :
B.Tech in Space Technology
B.Tech in Aerospace engineering
B.Tech in Avionics
To become a Space scientist - You should do Masters degree or doctoral degree in Physics, astronomy or astrophysics
So,
For learning Space science,
You should pursue UG in Aerospace engineering or any Course related to Earth and space and also Avionics, then you should pursue PG ( M.Tech or PhD program) in Astronomy and Astrophysics
Hope it helps
Good luck!
Hello aspirant...
As you've asked about IIST Trivandrum, I would like to tell you that every year cutoff varies so it's not easy to tell exactly whether you will get a seat or not by scoring marks you mentioned above in your question.
Also looks like you've missed important details like from which category you belong to ? and about which branch you are talking about..
But by looking at cutoff of 2019 for IIST Trivandrum it seems a bit difficult to get a seat with 120 marks if you belong to general category.
If you belong to OBC/SC/ST then it'll be a different situation.
There is also eligibility cutoff for admission into just Trivandrum for different categories.
Why are you limiting your marks ??, If you are really a serious aspirant and dedicated to achieve your goal then you shouldn't think like this .Your focus should be always to give your best and score as much marks as you can.
Please go through the link below to get more details about cutoff..

I hope it'll be helpful
Thanks...
