as you dont have any preference for stream of engineering i would suggest you to go for iit kharagpur. as it is one of the oldest iit in dia. have excellent placement record, infrastructure, campus life. 

you will get to learn  lot of things apart from studies.

If you want pursue MS in biotechnology (from USA), after you pursue your B.Tech in Biotechnology from any of the above IIT, you would be required to appear for TOEFL and GRE examinations. Both of these exams are mandatory in order to pursue your MS from USA based engineering institutes. Feel free to comment for any other queries. Good luck. 

Dear data science is not the branch it is one of the parts of computer science stream you have to opt computer science branch if you want to opt data science in future. Both colleges are good you can differentiate about which college have better CSE branch and check your rank you get it that college as per your rank or not.

This course is offered by G.S.Sanyal School of Telecommunications, IIT Kharagpur. They started this M.Tech program from the academic year 2017. Me, being the student of first batch of this specialization, i suppose i can give enough information.

About the course the curriculum covers both the basic and advanced topics in Communications that can be useful for industry like Communication Signal Processing, MIMO Communications, Telecommunication Network Planning and Management etc and also have research oriented courses like Game theory, Network Optimization etc. However like any other PG student in IIT you are free to choose your electives from any department. The advantage of this course is the professor to student ratio. 

If you want to work for industry, then you have equal chances as any other specialization related to EC offered by IIT KGP.,regardless for being the first batch had 100% placement. So, if you have acquired enough knowledge and skills for industry in your stay here then you are good to go! In case you have interest for further research(here/abroad), then also you’ll be having good support from professors.

This particular school has very good faculty who has expertise in both Wireless Communications and in Networks. There are also good number of Ph.D students in the school who are ready to help you any moment.

Dear gopiraj as per the previous year student reviews on social media handles or other social media websites we get the conclusion that wireless communication and network in IIT Kharagpur is the best option as a comparison to IIT Guwahati communication engineering.

Congrats, your rank is good enough to get you admission in good IITs. The closing rank last year of Civil Engineering was 5890. Now, considering that there will be 10% extra reservation this year. Your chances of making it seems quite less. Though you can get Bio-Technology & Chemical Science and Technology at IIT Guwahati. I would suggest you to keep your other options ready.

See as the choices you have given , it's like chosing between Bugatti, Bentley, BBT. All three are great.

It's you who have to decide which branch is best for you.  In between IIT Guwahati and IIT BHU ,i would prefer IIT Guwahati electronics as IIT Guwahati is among the old IIT's , so neglecting the infrastructure, what i see is that the placements and other factors are better than that of IIT BHU.

Now Between IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee , IIT Roorkee has a slightly upper hand But it is almost same. So you have to decide . If you prefer Mechanical then IITR Mech.>IITG Electronics>IIT BHU Electronics. Else just reverse the first two. This is what i think.

As you query is that you want to choose in between IIT Mandi for EE or chemical engineering at IIT Guwahati. I would like to tell you that both the the branches have their own importance and they are core subjects. Further based on the placement and salary package from the analysis of last 4 years of IIT Mandi and IIT Guwahati I would like to tell you that it's better to apply for chemical engineering at IIT Guwahati because the placement and salary package is better there and as well as IIT Guwahati is more reputed then IIT Mandi.

Further I would like to highlight this that at last it's all about your interest that you are interested in EE or chemical engineering and then only you should choose your branch but based on my opinion and analysis I will conclude to take admission in IIT Guwahati for chemical engineering.
