Hello Rohan,
As per the official, TMI has approval to admit 120 candidates for the Diploma in Nautical Science (IMU) leading to B.Sc. Applied Nautical Science (IMU). TMI accepts only company sponsored candidates for admision in the IMU programme.
Though any registered shipping company can sponsor candidates for the DNS programme, following companies normally sponsor candidates at TMI:
Fleet Management, Gulf Energy Maritime Services, Maersk, Mitsui OSK Lines, MSC, Nortrans, Scorpio Marine Management, Tolani Shipping, TORM, United Ocean, V-Ships, Wallem Ship Management, Wilhelmsen Ship Management.
You can check the further information with the given below link.

Good Luck!
Bachelors degree is always better than a diploma in any field, for Growth & Promotion.
If you choose a diploma in Nautical Science then you can be a Marine Engineering Instructor, Operations Manager, Training Navigating Officer, Lecturer & Marine Engineer.
so your package will be around 5lacs to 10lacs per annum.
If you do a bachelors degree then Deck Officer, Nautical Surveyor, Scuba Diver, Marine Superintendent.
Packages will range from 8 lacs to 15 Lacs per annum.
I personally suggest you consult a working marine person to get the best advice in today's scenario.
Hello kamaldeep
No you are not eligible for IMU CET because
The candidates should have passed 12 thstandard qualifying examination with aggregate marks of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
At least 50% marks should have been secured by the candidates in English
Good luck
Yes, Indian Maritime University does provide sponsorship to students. Eminent companies such as Fleet Shipmanagemet and others sponsor the students. You can register for them if you meet the eligibility criteria.
As for Anglo-eastern and Tolani, if you qualify their final entrance test (IMU-CET) only then you will be eligible for counseling and will be contacted by them.
Hello Rhythm,
Yes, you can take IMUCET twice in a year. It is conducted in June and in December. If you appear in June IMUCET and clear it then you are eligible for August batch and if you appear for December IMUCET and clear it then you are eligible for January batch.
Hope you are clear now.

it's very good .it seems to be natural atmosphere. The surroundings are very clean and they maintain a good and clean canteen environment and they are providing us hygienic food .they have a good computer lab for lab classes .
Our college infrastructure was very nice with all facilities.the environment is very beautiful.it was fully filled with plants and trees.all type of sport facilities are there in our campus and also a swimming pool.we have enough space, air and wifi.
The college infrastructure is pretty good covering all the basics that a college should have, it is equipped with multi labs, ship structure for training and also supported with a swimming pool which helps in Enhancement of training.
