Hello, and congratulations for your result. You have got a very decent percentile so try to score more in next attempt at least near about 97 percentile to get CSE in any top nit.

Now talking about chances with this percentile, you have very low or to be honest negligible chances of getting CSE in any of the top nits or IIITs but still you have some sort of chances to get CSE in NIT srinagar, NIT Agartala and some if the lower GFTIs but still I would suggest to score more in upcoming attempt.

Below I am providing a link of college predictor where you can predict your college based on your percentile -

Hello aspirant,

hope you are doing good.

You will get seat allotted in polytechnic college after writing polytechnic exam based on your rank after the  completion of counselling. seats in IIIT are allotted based on the percentage of a student got in their SSC. If a student got good percentage like above 95% then they can apply for IIIT, there will be chance to get seat in IIIT. or else you can join in inter in any course based on your interest.

admission into IIIT is based on the SSC percentage so you cannot join by writing polytechnic exam.

hope this will be helpful

Hello Tanish,

In my opinion you should always go for that option which will help you get a better placement in the future. For a better placement both your college and your branch matters. I prefer you to go for better branch even if it is in NIT because it will groom your skills and help you further if you want to continue the studies after b.tech. A good branch and a good preparation can easily get you a good placement. For more information related to college, you'll have to share your rank with us. Hello Aspirant,

The Joint Entrance Examination, commonly referred to as the JEE, is an entrance exam for admissions into undergraduate engineering programs in India. The exam is held once every year and tests students on their knowledge of physical, mathematical, and technical topics.

The admission eligibility is determined by the ranks obtained by the students. The ranking system is decided by taking into consideration multiple factors such as a student's percentile, caste background, disability status, financial capabilities, and multiple others.

You did a great job achieving the 95 percentile and thus will have many opportunities in different branches of multiple top colleges.

All the best!

There are chances of getting in NITs or IITs. You can appear for JEE Advanced 2022. Also many reputed Universities and colleges like Amrutha University, Amity Institute of engineering,  Lovely Professional University, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, Delhi Technological University etc. accepts JEE Main score as a criteria for admissions

There are chances of getting in NITs, IIITS, and top universities or colleges who are making admissions to certain BTech courses based on the JEE Main Score. Even you can try for JEE Advanced 2022.  You will be eligible for JOSAA counselling sessions and wait until your chance comes. It cannot be predicted now, in which round of JOSAA, you will be getting the allotted seat.

Hello Aspirant,

Don't lose your hope, you have secured a decent rank. You will go for state counselling it will be good for you.

According to your rank it will be difficult for you to get a chance in IIITs with CSE branch. As CSE is a high demanding branch in engineering you need to score a very good rank for getting this branch. Getting a seat will depend on varies factors such as number of students applied for the same branch, performance of the students, category of the students, home state etc.
