To be honest your rank is too high being even from obc NCL category for getting into NITs , IIITs . Instead i would suggest you to give private college examinations like VIT Vellore, SRM University, Manipal University, BITS Pilani.

Some conditions are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of vacant seats in college previous years cut offs and toughness level of the paper. Unfortunately you don't have chances to get into the any of the NITs /IIITs. Instead you should keep private colleges as a back or if your home state belongs to one these like Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Srinagar Agartala, Manipur then you do have chances to get there.

As per your rank let me tell you that in any nit or iiit it is not possible for you to get cse /ece branch even in NIT Andhra Pradesh. You can try for lower branches such production, metallurgy.

Let me tell you one thing that if you are not able to get a seat through josaa counselling then your money will be surely refunded after deducting an amount of 1500. Rest of the amount will be refunded.

with 55000 rank you will not get admission in any NIT, IIIT or GFTI. You may go for State a Government Colleges like BIT Sindri

According to the previous year data and your rank it's difficult for you to get CSE in any IIITs or NITs in JOSAA Counselling but you can try for CSAB round but there also chances are very low.

You can try for private collages but if you want only Government colleges you can try for IET Lucknow and HBTU Kanpur there you will not get CSE but you can get some so called good branches.
