If we consider the reputation of the two colleges, then NIT Raipur is a much older one and definitely commands a higher respect in the industry than IIIT Jabalpur. Moreover, NIT Raipur invites many big-shot companies in it's placements, and being an ECE student, you'll get the same opportunities as a CSE student as most of the companies that come for CSE roles, also allow ECE students to sit for the interview.

If you go for IIIT Jabalpur, you'll get a CSE degree, but will miss out on a better college life, and the placements will be good, but you won't get much variety in placements if you decide to go for a different field or role.

So, in all, if you want a CSE degree with good placements, go for IIIT Jabalpur, while if you want a holistic life with good placements, go for NIT Raipur CSE.

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

First of all basic criteria for appearing in neet exam is 12th with 60% mark in physics chemistry and biology. All those who fulfill this can appear for neet. Candidates age should be more than 17 and now the upper limit of age for neet is removed. Students doing bsc or any other course can also apply if they fulfill above criteria. So irrespective of the course you studied, if ypu fit in above criteria you are eligible for neet

Dear Student,

If you are wishing to apply any of the Indian Institute of Information Technology i.e. IIIT, following are the eligibility criteria you need to fulfill

1- The student should need to pass 10th and 12th class  with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as a compulsory subjects.

2- The Individual has to appear for Joint Entrance Examination and needs to qualify exam with more marks than the cut off marks.

3- Students needs to fill the online application for the admission counselling, and according to their Individual ranking they will get an admission to IIITs.

Please note: As per the new rules it is not mandatory to fulfill the requirement of 75% criteria of 12 class, students just have to passed 10th and 12th with minimum qualifying marks.

Hope this info will help!

comment below for any further doubts.

Definitely! IIIT allows the relaxation in the tuition fee for SC, ST and PwD students, so your entire tuition fee will be waived off, which is around Rs.60,000. The only fees that you'll have to give is as follows:

One Time Fees    Rs.13,750

Hostel Seat Rent (each Semester)    Rs.6,000 (2-Seater),

Rs.12,000 (1-Seater)

Other Fees (each Semester)    Rs.4,100

Annual Fees    Rs.2,750

Mess Advance (each Semester)   Rs. 12,000

Total    38,600

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

See, NIT Raipur is a very old college and is widely recognized. So, if you want a highly reputed college with good placements, then go for NIT Raipur as almost all the good companies come for placements at NIT Raipur, and due to strong coding culture, most of the NIT Raipur ECE students get placed in software and IT companies which are at par with CSE students.

So, if you want to go only after a CSE degree, then you should go for IIIT Jabalpur, while if you want a holistic development with good placements, then you you should definitely choose NIT Raipur.

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

Yes, according to the normal process, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (or JoSAA) required a student to score at least 75% in class XII boards or be in the top 20 percentile of the respective boards, but for the session of 2022-23 through JEE Main 2022, JoSAA has notified that the 75% criteria has removed due to COVID-19. So, yes, the 75% criteria has effectively been removed for IIIT Allahabad. All the best!

Hello Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well.
