With a rank of 1,12,212 from the open category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the NIT's or IIIT's when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, the closing ranks for the best colleges were around 50,000 in the Home state quota. But, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. Hello, with your rank you have good chances of getting a seat in government colleges like NITs,nIIITs and GFTIs. You won't get the top level branches but still you can get a seat in some of the newer NITs and IIITs.

Seeing your score and previous year cuttoff of NITs or IIITs,you seems to have less chance of getting any government engineering college.You need EWS rank under 5k or 35k rank under general category.Look for jee advance examination.

Chances of you landing in a top ranked nits is pretty low. Though you can try for lower ranked nits and you might have to compromise for stream as percentile is pretty low for nits. But since you are a defence cat. student there are chances that you might get some help of this quota.

College Infrastructure
As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.
Overall college life here is not too much but good.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is quite good there is lot of greenery in our college. Building are a bit old. Rooms are okayish i would say(enough for a person) college is small, it extends upto 30 acres. Overall it is not much bad
