Courses

KIIT University Eligibility Criteria

BTech (BTech in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Computer Science Engineering Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Automobile, Chemical Technology)

Passed 10+2 exam or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.

BTech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science and System Engineering, Computer Science and Communication Engineering

Biotechnology - Dual Degree (BTech & MTech)

Passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology taken together.

BArch

10+2 exam with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 exam.

Valid score in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).

BTech (Lateral Entry)

Passed three-year diploma course in Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education of any state or equivalent.

BCA

10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level.

BBA

Passed 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Economics/ Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level.

Bachelor of Design (Fashion/ Textile) 

Pass in 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate.

Bachelor of Film & Television Production

Pass in 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate

BA.LL.B / BBA LL.B / B.Sc. LL.B 

10+2 in any stream with at least 45% marks. For B.Sc. LL.B candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent in the Science stream with at least 45% marks.

Bachelor of Mass Communication & Journalism

Passed 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate. 

BA in Economics (Hons)

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks.

BA in Sociology (Hons)

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks.

BA in English (Hons)

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks.

BA in Psychology (Hons)

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks.

BA in Anthropology (Hons)

B.Com (Hons)

10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics / Business Mathematics & Statistics as one of the subjects in the 10+2 level.

B.Sc Computer Science

Passed 10+2 Science or equivalent having Mathematics as one of the subject with at least 50% marks.

B.Sc. Nursing

Candidates with Science who have passed the qualifying class 12th and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.

MBBS

Higher Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on education.

Or 

Intermediate Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject.

Valid score in NEET.

MTech

BE or BTech or equivalent degree (e.g. AMIE, GRADE-IETE etc) in respective branches of Engineering and Technology with a First Class or equivalent CGPA or First Class MCA / First Class MSc in (Comp/ IT/ ETC) GATE qualified candidates shall be accorded preference in the process of selection.

GATE qualified candidates having score 400 or above need not sit in the entrance examination.

MCA

Any graduate with a minimum 50% marks in graduation or equivalent having mathematics either in 10+2 or graduation level as one of the subject. 

M.Sc Biotechnology

Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/ Agriculture/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine (MBBS/ BDS) with at least 55% marks.

M.Sc Applied Microbiology

LLM

Candidate should have passed B.A.LLB/ BBA LLB/ B.Sc.LLB/ LLB, degree and must have secured at least 55% of marks in aggregate.

M.Arch

Candidates must have BArch degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Integrated MTech & PhD

BE or BTech or equivalent degree in respective branches of Engineering and Technology with a First Class or equivalent CGPA or First Class MCA/ First Class M.Sc. in (Comp/ IT/ ETC).

Master of Mass Communication & Journalism

Passed in graduation or equivalent with at least 50% marks.

MA (Yoga Therapy)

Graduate in any discipline.

Master of Hospital Administration 

Passed bachelor’s degree in Medicine, AYUSH, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Veterinary Sciences, Physiotherapy, or Allied Health Sciences with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (or) Bachelor’s degree in Technology (BTech), Commuter Application (BCA), Hospital Administration (BHA/BHM), Public Health (BPH/BSc-PH), Business Administration (BBA), Law (LLB) or equivalent degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, (or) Bachelors’ degree in Science/Arts/Commerce with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, (or) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any other discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Master of Public Health 

Bachelors’ degree in Medicine, AYUSH, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Veterinary Sciences, Physiotherapy, or Allied Health Sciences with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, (or) Bachelor’s degree in Technology (BTech), Public Health (BPH), Business Administration (BBA) or Law (LLB) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, (or) Bachelor’s degree in Science / Life science / Statistics / Economics / Nutrition / Demography with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

M.Sc Computer Science

B.Sc degree in Computer Science / IT / Mathematics/ Electronic/ Physics /Chemistry/ BCA with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

MA in Economics

Graduation or equivalent with one subject as Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics with at least 60% marks.

MA in Sociology

Passed in Graduation or equivalent with at least 60% marks.

MA in English

Graduation or equivalent with one subject as English with at least 60% marks.

MA in Psychology

Candidate must have passed in graduation or equivalent with one subject as English with at least 60% marks.

M.Sc in Psychology

Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B.Sc. or equivalent) from any recognised university.

M.Sc (by Research - Scientific & Technical Translation)

MA/ M.Sc in Public Policy

Any graduate with minimum 60% marks in graduation or equivalent having Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics either in 10+2 or graduation level as one of the subjects.

MA in Leadership

Passed in graduation or equivalent with at least 60% marks.

MA in Anthropology

MA in Sprituallism

M.Com

Bachelor’s degree in Management or Commerce with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

M.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Math & Data Science

BSc/ BE/ BTech or an equivalent degree with at least 60% marks, students possessing bachelor's degree with Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics as one of the main subjects or Engineering graduates with a strong aptitude for the above areas are eligible to apply.

Students who are in the final year of graduation may also apply.

M.Sc Nursing

Candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council. 

The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc Hons Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

The candidate should have undergone in BSc Nursing/ B.Sc Hons Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognised by Indian Nursing Council. 

Minimum one year of work experience after Basic BSc Nursing. Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic BSc Nursing. 

The candidate shall be medically fit.7.5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.

Candidate having M.Tech/ ME/ MCA/ MBA/ M.Com/ M.Sc with minimum 60% marks. MA /LLM with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA.
