hello dear!!!

i think you are talking about the jee main rank,i wish that 90000 rank is a rank that is with included category advantage. So i think that with that rank it is very unlikely for you to get seat in a good IIIT with good branch. So i think and my suggestion is that you try for counsellling try until the lasst round.i hope this helps.

thank you

Hello dear!!!

I really think that you are greatly confused between the commenting on a question and asking a new question.and  If you are sure with your question then please do comment me with your jee mains score, so that I can predict your colleges and branches which you can opt for. I hope this helps.

Thank you

Hello Mohit,

If you are confused between choosing colleges and courses you can start by comparing the two and then deciding which one suits you the best.

If you apply for a dual degree in IIIT

• you will get flexibility for choosing between MBA or M.Tech after your third year since your B.Tech completes in three years. You will hence be able to gain flexibility in terms of your preferences of certain domains.

• you will be able to pursue certain extra courses after your third year which are not included in fourth year of B.Tech. you can also partake in various activities and electives which will allow you more options.

• it allows you to prepare for certain university related examinations like GSoC, ICPC, TGM, etc. You also save a year of post graduation which is quite advantageous. The disadvantage is that you will not be able to achieve a specialization (VLSI, Networking, Distributed Systems, etc). You will simply achieve a M.Tech degree in it.

• in terms of placements this does not provide as much advantage since you don't have a specialization and the one with a specialization in their degree will get an upper hand

On the other hand if you opt for CSE in JSS, Noida you will be able to get a specialization in your course but the advantages that a dual degree provides that is less time consumption will not be available if you opt for CSE.

You can compare the following and decide which one of these will be better for you on basis of your preferences or you can visit the colleges and get an idea by yourself or by getting in touch with the concerned authorities.

I hope this helped.

All the best!!

Hello,
According to 2018 cutoffs, the closing rank for Mechanical engineering at IIIT Jabalpur was 151289, for Electronics and Communication engineering, the closing rank was 120696, for Computer science and engineering, the closing rank was 90272. These are the closing ranks for SC candidates and these ranks are in terms of CRL Rank. Also, take care of the fact that cutoffs can vary from year to year depending upon factors like number if seats available, number of students appearing for the examination, difficulty level of the paper etc.
I hope it helps. For any further queries regarding this, ask me in the comments.

Hi there.

As you know that admission are provided in the NIITs by the ranking of JEE mains . And for IITs you must clear JEE advance. So if you wish to get an IIT you must see for your JEE advance ranking and score .

IIT admission is not provided through jee mains .

Hi ramesh ,
I regret to inform you that with a low score you cannot get admission into any prestigious college of engineering like nits or iiits.

As nits or iiits are one of the most sought after college in feild of engineering so they have high cutoffs for the candidates to get admission.

Even for lower nits the lowest branches have cutoff a maximum closing rank upto 16k to 18k even this is under homestate quota.

Hope it helps !!!

Vineet,

In my view IIIT LUCKNOW IT is better than any course Of IIITDM KANCHEEPUR reason is IIIT LUCKNOW is new IIIT and follows the sme curriculum as IIIT HYDERABAD which makes students more knowledge and industry orientated.

The next thing is placement. Placement stats of IIIT lucknow is far better than IIITDM kancheepur.

Avg package of IIITDM KANCHEEPUR is 5.5 lacs where as IIIT Lucknow is 11.37 lacs.

Highest for IIIT LUCKNOW 28 LACS FOR IIITDM 10 LACS.

the rest depends on you.

The minimum marks to get in to the jee mains NIT government is around  above 120 marks is well and good it is different for nit  to nit it is also depends on category and competition in that particular year

So if you mention category also I can help you further more

All the best

College Infrastructure

As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.

Overall college life here is not too much but good.
