The application procedures for all levels of courses offered by IIIT Hyderabad is listed below:

1. For Undergraduate courses, the candidates need to have a valid score of JEE Mains. In case a candidate has not appeared for JEE Mains exam, the admission will be done either on the basis of Olympiads or UGEE conducted by the college itself.
2. For Post-graduate courses, the admissions are conducted through the PGEE score, followed by an interview, both  conducted by the college itself  . The students who are GATE qualified are not required to appear the entrance exam.
3. Admission to the Post Graduate Student Status Program (PGSSP) is based on the academic and professional record of a candidate.
4. Admissions to PhD is offered through a written exam followed by an interview.

No you can get admission into IIITs through JEE Mains as well. You need JEE ADVANCED only for admission into IITs. JEE Mains can help you get admission into IIITs, NITs, GFTIs and other state engineering colleges.

Candidate need to check his/her results and those who are qualified in the entrance exam will be shortlisted for the interview. You don't need to fill any additional application for that. The interview date will be placed in the official website https://ugadmissions.iiit.ac.in/ugee_page.html

And the details for the same will be informed to you through your contact details. Kindly check the official website and your registered mobile number and email ID for such communication.

Mufaddal, questions are mostly asked from the subjects that you have studied in intermediate i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Few questions will also be asked from Linguistic. This test is to check your confidence level, communication skills and subject knowledge. Just prepare from your 11 and 12 books, go through some technology related articles and newspapers for current affairs.

Nevertheless, going by the formula 100-87.27*869010/100 where 87.27 is your percentile and 869010 is the no.of Candidates who appeared for January session, your All India Rank is 110624. Going by this rank, IIITs are a tad difficult. You may have to appear for July session. Going by this rank, you have decent chances in:

Hey there

IIIT Hyderabad is better than VIT in almost every aspect. First thing is IIIT tag, second peer group at IIIT is far better than VIT as all students are ranker in IIIT, placement of IIIT is very good and international companies visit the campus for placements and take good amount of students. IIIT Hyderabad average package is over 15 lakhs and VIT is around 7-8 lakhs and also new courses are being added at IIIT Hyderabad.
