Yes, you are eleigible for B.Tech Courses in Jadavpur. But depends how much you score in WBJEE to get Jadavpur University. Admission will be offered on the basis of score of WBJEE.  

Besides, candidates applying for B.Tech degree must have passed 12th Board Examination in PCM with at least 45% marks.

Jadavpur University only takes its B.E. admissions through the WBJEE examination and not JEE-MAINS. So if you have not appeared for WBJEE, you cannot get into Jadavpur University just by appearing in JEE Mains.

The 90% domicile rule has not yet been passed in Jadavpur University so far.

However you should keep checking the websites and newspapers regarding this issue. I hope you get into JU this year.

If you are having a West Bengal domicile then only your cast certificate is going to be fruitful for you in Jadavpur University else you shall be considered as a GEN student.

Assuming you have the domicile of OBC-B you have to get around 70-80 marks out of 200 to feel safe about getting JU in round I itself.

The eligibility criteria for Geography hons in Jadavpur university are as follows:

• 10+2 with Mathematics and any two subjects from Physics, Chemistry & Geography, securing at least 65% marks in average obtained in above mentioned three for General candidates
• 10+2 with Mathematics and any two subjects from Physics, Chemistry & Geography, securing at least 58.5% marks in average obtained in above mentioned three for SC/ST/PD/SPORTS
• 10+2 with Mathematics and any two subjects from Physics, Chemistry & Geography, securing at least 48% marks in average obtained in above mentioned three for OBA/OBC

Hi Amisha ! First of all Jadavpur University doesn't admit student on the basis of the rank of JEE main exam. It admits student on the basis of WBJEE exam which stands as west Bengal joint entrance examinations. Try to give WBJEE exam and get into the Jadavpur University. So best of luck !

By going through last few years' cut off, it can be predicted that you may get a seat in Jadavpur University with your PWD rank in Metallurgy, Production, Food Processing and Dairy Engineering with WBJEE counselling.

Yes, you can easily expect a seat at Jadavpur University with this marks. 88 marks will fetch you a rank which will be in the range of 950-1200 if the trend of previous year is followed. However it depends on the level of difficulty of question paper. Analysing current trade and difficulty of level of question paper of 2019 then then the rank may vary from 4000-5500. For this variation you must wait till the rank table comes out. Last year one of my friend got 97 marks with rank 863 and now he is pursuing mechanical engineering. Well, you should not expect a good stream but you can food technology, printing technology, power technology and other lower streams. If your luck is good you may get chemical, mechanical either through vacancy or through mock counseling. So best of you luck !
