This university has been deemed an autonomous one after Act No 30 of the approval of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature known as the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities Act, 2008 which came into force on 18th August, 2008.
JNTU has three branches in Andhra Pradesh i.e. Jntu (Hyderabad), Jntu (Kakinada) and Jntu (anantapur)
A premier institution with academic and research -oriented courses, the B.Tech programs (Undergraduate programs) are about 25. Major branches among them are Aeronautical Engineering, Automobile, Biotechnology, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation &Control, Metallurgy, Mechanical, Bio-medical, Civil and many more. A few courses are also offered through the correspondence cum contact mode.
The admission into B.Tech is based on EAMCET or ECET ranks, the admission into M.Tech is based on Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or PGECET Acores and the admission into MCA is based on ICET rank.

Hello aspirant,
Based on student reviews, JNTU Hyderabad is an excellent college for pursuing MSc as the students have given great ratings to the college for placements, infrastructure as well as faculty. As far as placements go, there are companies like GVK, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Mylan, etc visiting the campus to recruit students. However, it is advisable that you try to get in touch with a student or students currently studying in the college for the particular course to get a clearer overview of the college.
hi triveni
As the eligibility criteria for MCA states that you must have
mathematics in your 12 th or graduation ,you will not be eligible for
this course.
But don't be upset as there are many other good options available for you such as,
1)M.Com ,
2)CA
3)MBA
Hii,
In comparison to both the Colleges , JNTU Hyderabad is slightly better to pursue Computer Science Engineering stream. Both the Colleges provide good facilities and the infrastructure is well enough. But what differentiates is the Job opportunities. The Opportunities in JNTU Hyderabad are handful and many companies like TCS,Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture and many more visit the campus for recruitment.
Hello
You got a very good rank
Congrats
You will get definitely into Osmania University and jntu Hyderabad.
You can get into ECE branch of jntu h
Cse is difficult to get .
You need to wait till third round for getting ECE round . You may initially get EEE or mechanical branch.
I suggest you to join Osmania University College of engineering.
The ECE course is very good
It has better placements than jntuh with highest package going 42 lpa
The cutoff for ou is little bit higher than jntu.
