Hello Shouya
I hope you are doing good and great
With reference to your query, FIrst I would glad to clear your myth ,generally people of your age are unaware and misinformed about it.
You have heard cse students placed high than other streams ,the simple reason behind that is coding culure is very high in their batch due to which they practise a lot and hardwork to develop and enhance their coding skills. If you will do the same then you will also will be placed with same packages.
Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future
Dear Aspirant,
See this can be totally be your choice as per the choosing the college. But I would prefer that college which is the most profitable to me and most importantly the ROI factor of the colleges.
Talking at first about srm chennai mechanical branch, it is not at all advisable to go with core branch in these private colleges because by spending 18L you would end up landing into some bulk hiring companies like tcs,Infosys, cognizant and other parallel ones. So, this is a total no for me.
Next is vit bhopal cse, this is a newer one among the other vit campuses and also it's not the main campus. You can opt for it but again it is always better to choose the main campus.
Next is kiits Bhuvaneshwar, the total four cost would be around 16-18L and it will be a better option for you as the ROI factor is also good if compared to other colleges. And also the branch reviews are good in terms of faculty members and placement statistics.
Dear aspirant,
Yes ,both the colleges that is SRM University and kiits Bhuvaneshwar offers their students to study one complete semester in abroad through student exchange programme.
In each of the universities there is some specific criteria which is needed to be fulfilled by the student in order to get selected for the student exchange programme
For more information you can check out the link given below:-
Dear aspirant,
Both the universities that is SRM ktr cse or kiit cse has equal opportunities in terms of foreign opportunities.
And as cse branch is compared , one can't create any difference every other renowned private college has good placements in the cse branch. Various companies do come for placements and maximum of the cse branch students gets placed whether it's kiit or SRM.
But if I had to choose one, I would consider only on the basis of location. SRM is situated in Chennai which is south so for it professionals you would perfectly fit there and as kiit bhuvaneshwar is in eastern site. So, there are more core companies situated in that area rather than it hubs.

Hi Jigisha!
Congratulations for securing both good colleges!
If you are getting your desired seat or any core branch in SRM , Chennai (main campus - KTR campus) then I would suggest you to choose it. And if you are not getting any core branch such as CSE, IT, ECE etc in SRM main campus, but getting the desired seat in KIIT, opt KIIT University.
Choose wisely!
Thankyou!

Hi Anmol,
Kalinga Institute of industrial technology has recently announced the results for the second phase of KIITEE. In the results, only percentile of the candidate for the same phase were mentioned. The final ranksheet will be prepared only after the conclusion of all three phases.
You will get a chance to lock your prefered seat within a certain time period on the basis of counselling schedule to take place later this week.
