ECE students have great scope in PSUs and also IT jobs where they are allowed to sit in placement exams along with CSE and IT students. Amazon, Flipkart, Walmart are some of the top recruiters who conduct placement drives. Core companies like Samsung also visit. Almost 40% of the students get internship opportunities.
In the last 2 years, more than 70% of the candidates were placed, hi ghest package in ECE was around 39lpa, an average of 11lpa, and lowest package offered was 5-7 lpa.

See if you are focused towards placement like you wish to work in private sector in software development sector then you should definitely go with CSE branch but if you want to keep the doors open for public as well as private sector then ECE branch is recommended. So here colleges cannot be differentiated because they both are well known NITs.
