hello aspirant....
your percentile of 96.5 is well good enough for the admission in nit bhopal for b planning. if you are from general category you cannnot confirm that you get admission because you lie in the exact line of cutoff result of previous years result analysis. you need to try more hard so that you get more than 99 percentile in the next session of jee mains paper 2. refer this link for college related queries

hope this helps
all the best for your bright future
hello aspirant,
as per the previous years result analysis your percentile of 96.5 is not enough for getting admission in nit. but since the nta cutoff results have not released there might be slight relaxation in the cutoff as the seat in barch courses in certain nits have increased. so there is a chance for relaxation of the cutoff result. try hard for next session to get beyond 99 percentile.
hope this information helps
all the best
Hi,
Nits take admission on the basis of jee main merit / ranking.
With the mentioned percentile you can calculate your rank by using formula
100 - your total percentile score is the percentage of people ahead of you. 44517 are the number of candidates appeared for January exam.
So rank formula for you will be
(100 - 97) X 44517/100.
With this you can expect a rank around 1335.
If we look at the previous years cutoff for nit bhopal it is found that generally the closing rank for a general category lies between 1000 - 8000 for home state and other state qouta. However the cutoff for every year depend on the several factors like number of student appeared, difficulty level of exam etc. So you will find that each year the cutoff varies.
You can check the cutoffs in more details for each year through the link https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-manit-bhopal/amp
So with this score you can expect a seat in B.planning section in general category.
Best of luck.

Congratulations for your result and qualifying JEE mains. your expected rank for the present percentile for january session comes out to be 55616. It is very difficult to predict the exact rank since it depend on various factors. Now the expected rank might change depending on the no of candidates appearing the april session.
since the official cutoffs of Nits are yet to be announced. There fore lets us analyse previous year cutoffs for NIT bhopal. Nits have different cutoffs ranks for different quotas mainly it is divided into 2

Hello Aspirant,
It's difficult to tell you the exact about the qualifying cutoff & admission cutoff. This score seems enough to qualify the exam but chances seems less to get MANIT Bhopal You can go for state level counselling. I would also suggest you to appear for JEE Main 2020 April Session again.
You may calculate your expected rank by this formula
100 - your total percentile score is the percentage of people ahead of you. 874469 are the number of candidates appeared for Jan exam. So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100. If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 1200000/100
Using the formula
(100 - your total score) X 869010 /100
Your probable rank will be 85,162

Good Luck!
This depends on the total students who wrote the exam. Only then can we guess the 50 percentile of the total. If you get 50 percentile, it means you did better than 50 percent of the students who wrote the exam. To know the 50 percentile, you need to know how many wrote the exam.
