No, it is not compulsory . The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) comprises of two papers. The Paper1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments, as well as an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.

But Many colleges admission mainly based on JEE Mains exam mark. But some private and deemed university conducts their own entrance exams for admission.

The placement for M.Tech Computer Networking in NIT Bhopal is good. Recruiting companies include Amazon, Ashok Leyland, Microsoft, Samsung, Wipro, Facebook, Google and so on. The average salary offered is INR 8 LPA approximately. The highest package offered is INR 22 LPA. Almost 70% students get placed in M.Tech as per the reviews of the previous year students.

Let me tell you that passion is the most important to achieve success in any field The IITs are best known for offering world-class undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programmes. M.Tech Bioprocess Engineering has some courses which  contains concepts related to engineering mathematics. Whereas placement problem is a large loophole for the NIT Bhopal. And about Nit Warangal, Biotechnology it is also a good branch and no doubt Nit Warangal is also a good college but But in India this branch needs some reforms for sure. Scope for this branch is less in India.
