Dear candidate

Yes, you cant get admission in MBM Engineering college, Jodhpur with 12 examination marks because the admission process for this particular college will be based on  12 th examination marks or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE MAINS) but more preference or priority is given to JEE MAINS rank than 12th board examination and so, first you will have to register for REAP fill the online application form, pay the fee online and it is mandatory to upload 12th mark sheet if you are joining via 12th examination marks and the admission will be based on merit list.

Hello Aspirant,

According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your approximate rank would be near about 1,40,000 and on the basis of this rank it is little bit hard to get CSE from General category but there is little advantage in REAP counselling that if your JEE-Main percentile is low but 12th percentage is high so you can apply from your class 12th percentage or vice-versa. So, on the basis of your class 12th percentage you can get CSE in MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur.

Note that above prediction is based on previous years cut-off trends and cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors. Till now the cut-offs are not released for REAP so I am guiding you according to previous years cut-off.

Hi Rajpurohit.

Placements are based on the colleges. As far as placements are concerned, they purely depends on quality and status of the college you are studying in.

Its a harsh reality that if someone wants a good placement then he/she should be from a good renowned college. If the ratings, popularity, students, infrastructure and quality of the college will be good, then the companies will come to one's college. That's why we are always advised to study hard to get a good tier I or tier II college when we're opting engineering as a career.

Now,

Placements for Mining Engineers:-

If you belong to any IIT Or NIT or ISM Dhanbad then definitely you will be able to get the chance of placement like Vedanta resources (hzl) ,coal India limited (cil),lafarge ,acc cements, hindalco etc coming for campus placement. Average package would be around 4-5 lakhs

Placements for Civil Engineers:-

In present scenario , the market for civil engineers is getting better. Top companies like L&T , Gammon ,HCC , GMR recruit students only from top colleges like IITs ,NITs , Govt Universities and some top private universities.

Placements in Computer Engineering:-

With every business and organization going digital, the IT sector today is a booming field as compared to other sectors and there is a huge demand of Computer Science Engineers and programmers. Some of the top companies that hire Computer Engineers are Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Dell, HCL, Infosys. with attractive packages sometimes worth crores.

If you are confused in these branches and having problem in selecting the branches, then there's a advice for you that always listen to heart and chose the stream or branch you are interested in. Don't choose on the basis of placements. i know placements matters but what matters the most is your interest, otherwise you'll regret it in your whole life.

I hope it helps you and if you still have any doubts or queries, then feel free to ask here. You can ask your doubts in the comment section or you can ask a separate question.

Thank You and All the best for your future.

Hello Aspirant,

I would personally recommend you to go for DY Patil College of Engineering and Technology, Kolhapur because although MBM engineering College, Jodhpur is government college but there is no or very minimum faculty support.

In MBM, Jodhpur, if you are talented and you are able to crack the off-campus placement then you should go for it and yes there is drawback in DY Patil College also that there is BE instead of B.Tech which focuses on theory rather practical but still with better faculty you can develop practical skills and hence I would recommend you to go with CSE in DY Patil College of Engineering and Technology, Kolhapur.

Hello,

if you have a score above 50% of total score then you have good chance to get an admission into MBM Jodhpur. you have reservation category which will make you eligible for more and better college options.
This is year many factors has changed which may put a big impact on the complete  process. Question paper pattern has changed and also session got late. There are many factors which will effect your rank. Your percentile is just from one session but rank will be from whole JEE candidate strength and counselling is done on the basis of rank not percentile.

Hope it helps!

Hello dear

With this percentile score you can expect your general rank under 1.2-1.4 lakhs and category rank in between 2-3 k  .

As I can see that there is no information available on internet and on any other source about the last year's trends so that we can predict it.

So I would suggest you to talk to the students of this college or any of your friend which got admission in this college in last few years because he / she can give you more information about it.

Good luck
