Its good to hear that you have select your college before 12th i will tell you the process for getting admission in your prescribed college.

1.You have to go through the iitmains exam in which you have to score less than 25000 rank so that you are eligible.

2.You have clear the iit advance.

Dear candidate, you haven't mentioned the course for which you want to apply.
I am mentioning you all the programmes and their entrance exam for joining MNNIT ALLAHABAD-

• For admission to B.Tech program, candidates must hold a valid JEE Main Score. Final admission will be offered after counselling (JoSAA).
• Admission to M.Tech program is based on GATE score followed by counselling (CCMT).
• A valid score in CAT is mandatory for MBA course. Shortlistedcandidates have to appear in GD and PI rounds conducted by MNNIT, Allahabad.
• For MSW program, students have to appear in the separate entrance test conducted by MNNIT.
• MCA admission is based on the score in NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET).
• Admissions to M.Tech Part-Time and Sponsored is based on MNNIT entrance test followed by the personal interview.
• JAM qualified candidates will be called for counselling (CCMN) for admission to M.Sc program.
• Ph.D. admission is based on Written Test followed by an Interview. UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ DST or GATE  qualified candidates are also eligible to apply.

Your score seems not so decent for NITs.With this score you can get non core stream or stream like CIVIL ENGINEERING in home state NITs under General Category.If you comes under any other category then 120 is decent score for getting core stream in NITs..Try to score 150+ score to bag seat in top Rank NITs..

Why NIT will change. You should have mentioned with what respect you want to know. There is no such changes told for 2nd years.

if you are in 2nd year then you have to continue with your course and schedule provided.

If there is any changes done you will get notified by the concerned officials  or department faculties.

Any change related to academics or information are confidential to outside world of NIT and they hold a high value.

Colleges only share the academic resources in the National Learning site i.e. NPTEL so that other private or NON- NIT students can use them as reference.

If you have any doubt you are advised to ask to your Department HOD and get clarified.

Haii Roopak!!! CAT is the most competitive MBA entrance exam so.. I would suggest you that minimum 70 percentile is required to get a call from your aggregate score which comprises of many factors such as CAT marks, cutoff percentile for sc students in CAT to get call from IIMs is 70-75..No matter what your cCAT score 60 ,70,80percentile or 90+percentile -predict your calls from iims and top colleges. This predictor will give you CAT sectional cutoffs.

As this year JEE mains pattern completely changed hence it is a little difficult to predict exact stats but yes approximately 88-90 percentile will be ok in your case.

As per new trend we can simply say that in order to get this much percentile you really have to study hard and score at least 150 for it.

If you'll have to choose between these two top institutes of the country then certainly it'll be a tough situation as both are very good colleges. But I'll suggest you to join mnnit Allahabad as the placements, the teaching and environment is better in case of mnnit Allahabad.
