Hi

Yes, why not?

You can report anywhere around India. All the colleges under JoSAA Counselling act as reporting centres during document verification.

Here's a list of JoSAA Participating institutes 2019. heck this link to know about the same: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-participating-institutes.

Best of Luck.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

No, you can't get admission in MNNIT through UPSEE exam, to get into MNNIT you need to qualify JEE Mains.
Because, MNNIT is an institute of central government and through UPSEE exam you are only eligible for all state level Engineering colleges (only Engineering colleges of Uttar Pradesh) connected with UPSEE.
Good luck....

Dear Aspirant,

There is a popular saying that "choose branch over college". In your case, the branch is CSE the most promising branch and the branch with a 100% placement. Moreover, CSE is quite easy while compared to other branches like electrical. If you do as much effort in CSE as you will in Electrical then you will be going places.

However, if you have a knack for electrical and like circuits and all those theorems then go with your interest. But if you do not have any interest in Electrical or have no interest at all then I strongly suggest going with CSE. NIT Allahabad is a very good NIT in fact among the top 5.

Hope this helps.

Comment your doubts, if any.

Thank You.

Yes you will be able to get admission in mnit Allahabad with this rank in JEE mains. Now I am sharing you the list of branches of mnit Allahabad in which you can get admission.

  • Electrical engineering
  • Civil engineering
  • Chemical engineering
  • Production engineering
  • Metallurgy

You can also get some descent branches in other NITs.

All the best!

Hello Shikhar,

well congratulations, both the courses have their own pros and cons coming to them,of course nit is better than iiit kancheepuram but in iiit as you have mentioned its a dual degree it has its own advantage.

So it totally depends on your intreset whether to do dual degree or not,but you do have a lot of time.According to my knowledge i can suggest you nit allahabad.

Goodluck,

Thankyou.

Dear Aspirant,

Choice of brach depends upon your interest. If you like civil engineering and its aspects like building some infrastructure or if you are more into PWD jobs or you want to become a contractor then CIVIL engineering is good for you. There are, in fact, a lot of government jobs in CIVIL engineering. Chose CIVIL if you want government jobs in the future or if you want to open a construction company.

Production, on the other hand, is a rather new branch and is diversification of mechanical on one specific side. Production has a lot of jobs in private sectors in companies like HERO, ASHOK LEYLAND, etc. If you are interested in such things then go for production. Also, production has a lot of advantage in GATE - PSU jobs as competition is less than MECHANICAL.

So if you want to go to the GATE side or private jobs then go for production.

Hope this helps.

All the best. Thank You.

Dear aspirant,

Production and industrial engineering and mechanical engineering are quite similar branches but they are low preference in compared to core branches and is quite okeyish type branch and placement in core branch is quite less. There are guys good in coding and often sit in IT companies placement.

For more doubt and suggestions write in the comments box below.

Hello Mridul,

Civil in MNNIT is not much as that preferable because the companies which visit the campus now have criteria to qualify in GATE.

So due to this reason, placement packages are low as compared to other colleges.

So I'll advise you to not go for civil in MNNIT.

You can see placement through given link.

http://www.mnnit.ac.in

Good luck

Dear aspirant,

Choose that branch for which you are passionate about. The branch for which you enjoy likes to work no matter for how much time. You are not feeling it like as a burdern or work instead you are enjoying it and just diving in it. Choose that branch for which you are interested and curious.

Don't choose the branche if you don't like it just because you are getting Nit for it. You will get Nit but tou will feel guilty in 2nd or 3rd year if you don't like your branch. So choose what you are interested about.

Hope this helps..!!

See you have given a hard choice although these choices are not so tough. You gave two choices civil or pie .

See if you want to pursue management or business in future or want to do MBA then pie is best option for you. But if you like doing field job then you can take civil. Although civil is given more importance. But you need to make the right choice.

Hope it helps .

Thank you.
