Dear student,

In nits there is no direct admision. You have to qualify in jee mains and secure a rank in it, only then you will be given admission in nits.
As you want mnnit allahabad, then just qualifying jee mains is not enough, you have to secure a good rank for getting a seat in mnnit allahabad.
There are different cutoff closing ranks for every category.
And you have to attend the josaa counseling, for getting admission in mnnit allahabad or any other nits.
In josaa counseling, if you fall in the range of cutoff set by nit allhabad, then you will be allotted a seat in mnnit allahabad.
So, after qualifying jee mains there is a step wise procedure to get admision in nits.
If you did not attend josaa counseling, then even if you had a good rank in jee mains, you cannot get admision in any nits including mnnit allahabad.

You should go for MNNIT as it is outstanding college with very good placements.

No you can't. For MNIT Allahabad you will require qualify Jee main with decent marks.

As per average Statistics available in public domain, The average package of NIT Allahabad is around 9 Lakh while the average package for NIT Silchar is around 7 Lakh. I would suggest you to go for NIT Allahabad. NIT Allahabad has better reputation than NIT Silchar. NIT Allahabad is among top NITs.

I hope you are doing fine, Both the branches are very good. They have their own importance. If you go with ECE then you will get the job easily. But in my opinion Mechanical engineering is better than Electronics Engineering. it depends on ur interest. A mech engg is eligible to do job in any sector. whereas ece students do not have any job vacancies in their core side , usually they move for software companies.

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, also known as MNNIT Allahabad or NIT Allahabad, concluded its placements with highest package of Rs 39.03 LPA and average package of Rs 9.6 LPA. The academic batch of 2020 recorded 64.11% placement percentage which was 8% lesser than that of MNNIT Allahabad placements 2019.

The MNNIT Allahabad placements 2020 showed growth in the average package offered along despite decreased number of job offers. MNNIT Allahabad MCA placements recorded the highest package of the season leaving BTech CSE branch behind. NIT allahabad is a prestigious college for pursuing btech course . The admission is done all the basis of jee main score. The cutoff this college is usually high and since computer science is one of the demanded branch, you will be required to secure minimum 94 percentile of you are from a reserved category. However try to score best marks as cutoff keeps on changing on the basis of number of students and difficulty level of exam.

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad is a government college with 220 faculty employed here. The college offers various branches in Btech.
