Like placement faculties and libraries in laboratories mechanical branches in NIT Rourkela is better than all the other branches. In second position in NIT Rourkela is a computer science engineering do the faculties and the education is not so good. The research facilities around so good in NIT Rourkela regarding computer science engineering and Mechanical engineering also.

In NIT Raipur civil engineering infrastructure is better than any other NIT what the placement is not so helpful in this branch of study.

The two institutes you have mentioned are one of the top engineering and preferred colleges in India. So if you wish to go for any of the two then you have to choose on the basis of the course of your preference. Now chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering both have very good scopes. Now if we see the placements of NIT Rourkella Chemical Engineering, then undoutedly it have a better placement rate compared to that of the NIT Raipur Civil Engineering. The average packages offered are around Rs 8LPA where as for the NIT Raipur its around Rs. 6LPA. So if considered, its quite clear that NIT Rourkella offers you a better exposure to the industry than that of NIT Raipur.

NIRF Ranking of IIIT Jabalpur in 2021 is 80 while NIT Raipur has NIRF Ranking in 2021 as 64 so it shows that NIT Raipur is better to that of IIIT Jabalpur. Also NIT Raipur has affiliations of UGC India, MoE India. Washington Accord, and and AICTE. Hence it is better to choose NIT Raipur.

Undoubtedly both the colleges are one of the top nits and they are top notch at their placements . But when it comes to branch I would prefer branch rather than college because both the colleges are of not much difference.

Nit allahabad is a better college in terms of ranking but ece in nit raipur has better opportunities . You can take part in core as well as non core companies so I would recommend you to go for nit raipur rather than allahabad.

In addition to that, mess food is not that good as compared to nit allahabad. It provides veg food . If you are a non veg foodie then you would be receive some trouble there.

Hi aspirant, since you want to take admission in IIITNR or NIT, Raipur, so dear let me make you clear that for taking admission t=into these types of institutes you b=need to clear the JEE Mains exam than you need to appear in the JOSAA counselling than only you can get admission in these colleges. There is no management quota for these institutes as these institutes comes under central institutes.

Sorry to say you but see actually both 2 are different

Engineering College with national importance and different courses also. Both of two institutes are good in the sense of academics infrastructures. But the difference creates only in the term of different course aspects and placement rate. However obviously computer science and Engineering has much more demand than ECE.

NIT Raipur ECE course costs about  5.40 lakh. As per the students review about 62 65% students get placed each and every year with average salary package of 9 lakh per annum.

On the other hand NIT Andhra , computer science and engineering course costs about 5.45 lacs. About 75 to 85% students each year get placed in companies and also get internship. The average salary package is about 7 lpa and the highest salary package of previous year was about 16 lpa. It is completely your choice for which course you want to go about. As per my opinion I would recommend you to go for nit raipur ece branch because of the following reasons:-

1- In terms of placements, nit raipur ece has an average package of 13L per annum which is much higher than nit Durgapur ee branch.

2- The hostel and mess food quality are good in both the campuses. You would enjoy the food in durgapur as its in west bengal .

3- The infrastructure in Raipur is better than durgapur in terms of main academic building and the laboratory.

Placements: Every year 60 to 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 7-8 LPA. Some top recruiting companies are Reliance, Tata Steel, BARC, etc.

The average CTC provided to the 2019-2020 batch was INR. 9.5 LPA. The Department of CSE bagged the maximum (82) number of offers followed by the IT department with 79 offers and the department of Mechanical Engineering with 78 job offers.

First, in the debate of Mechanical or ECE, ECE has a better chance of job market than Mechanical. As both are NITs the one with ECE has a better scope. I would recommend NIT Raipur ECE.

But at last, it depends on your interest.
