Hello, I hope you are doing well

Whether it's a good decision or not depends on the fact that in which field you have more interest.

Since, you left CSE at NIT Warangal, I don't think you have too much interest in Coding and technical field, so IIT Dhanbad Mechanical is a very old branch and you can get into some pf the top core companies.

However, If you left NIT Warangal for a bigger college brand name but you are interested in Tech side, then you can also pursue coding and try to get into one of those IT Companies as a software developer or roles like that.

Hope this helps.

All the best!

Hi Mahesh!

Yes, you can pursue MCA after B.Com (//B.Com) , but it depends on the college in which you are taking admission.Every institute has different eligibility criteria. As you mentioned about NIT Wrangal, so as per its eligibility criteria candidate must have passed three year degree or equivalent degree from a recognized University/Institute with First Class and not less than 60% aggregate marks (of all the years) or equivalent CGPA of 6.5/10.

Also, the admission is based on the score/rank achieved in NIMCET which is NITs MCA entrance test.

Hello Aspirant! If you're from Gen-EWS category, you need to get a rank between 15000 to 20000 if you're from home state to be on the safe side. That is a percentile of above 98 will help you get admission. To get CSE branch, you should expect your rank to be below 1500 if you're from home state that is a percentile not less than 99. It would be quite tough or nearly impossible for you to get CSE at NIT Warangal with a rank above 2000. However you may get ECE in the last or special rounds with a rank above 1800. Or else you may expect lower branches for the same.

As per your options of colleges considering you are only talking about the cse branch then it's very clear that iiit hyderbad is the best colleges among the given choices.

After iiit Hyderabad, there is bits pilani, nit Warangal, nsut Delhi, nit Rourkela and nit kurukshetra. Apart from these there are many IITs like bombay, delhi, roorkee, Kharagpur, kanpur which are famous for their placements in cse branch.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper
