Yes students of Andhra Pradesh have special seats in NIT Warangal. These seats are alloted under the section AP QUOTA SUPER NUMERIC . There are total 60 seats for it.

If you prefer good branch other than good college , then i suggest you to take computer science in HBTU kanpur. But if you prefer good college over good branch, then i suggest you to go for NIT warangal or MNIT allahabad because both of them are one of the renowned colleges in india.If you still want a job in computer science field you can join chemical engineering in NIT warangal and learn programming languages online.This is also good because you have chances in chemical engineering and computer science if you take up programming courses like in NPTEL,internshala and coursera.

As per the last year records,NIT Surathkal is better than NIT Warangal in terms of placement for CSE and IT students.

Both NIT Warangal and NIT Surathkal has best infrastructure and labs are well equipped.Both has good placement for CSRE and IT branch but there is a difference of packages offered.

NIT Surathkhal - Highest domestic package Rs 49 lakh per annum by Atalisian Bangalore.Placement percent of all branches = 89%.Placement percent of CSE and IT branch = 99.24%

NIT Warangal = Highest domestic package Rs 43 lakh per annum.Placement percent of all branch= 80%.Placement percent of CSE and IT branch = 93.22%.

So you can see by above data that NIT surathkal is better than NIT Warangal for CSE and IT branch.

CSE vs Biotechnology are very debatable options at both good Institutes. My suggestion will be choose something which takes you into confidence, ultimately its your career. If you were good with computers in school days, or even have a bit of interest or knack in Software, ML and Analytics, take CSE at Osmania. Perhaps is you want an off beat or research career and are interested in BioSciences and Technology, NIT Warangal BioTech is a fair place for you to nurture your dreams. As per my knowledge computer science is better now a days because in cse we can find the job easily with huge package and it's open so meny doors like job at abroad and mostly future that's why so many engg clgs started new course like AI,ML..etc

As you are secured 1482 rank in jee mains from St category then sorry you will not get NIT Warangal even if you belong from your home state Telangana.
In NIT Warangal you can not get any branch as per the last year cut off closing ranks including ece / eee or chemical engineering branch.
Here are the last year cutoff closing ranks of last round counselling in NIT Warangal for home state St candidates for ece, ee and ch :-

Electronics and Communication Engineering

Female - 353

Chemical engineering

So, as you can see you cannot get eee/ece/ch in nit warangal with this much st category rank, even till last round counseling.
