The cut off for any college is released after the admission process is over that year, once all the seats are filled them it is declared that atvwhat rank the last seat was taken, so cutt off for 2021 would be realesed after 2021 exam and admission.

If you don't have any pre existing interest in IT branch and you are good and studying news things with passion then i would suggest you to go for Biotechnology course at NIT Warangal as its of the best NITs and placements are very good in the college.But if you are interested in IT then NIT Srinagar is good.

First of all congratulations on securing 6900 rank in jee mains grin general category.

Now If you are a male general category other state or home state student , then you can not get nit Warangal electronics and communication engineering branch.

On the other hand if you are a female general category student, then you can easily get nit warangal ece branch.

Last year the cutoff closing rank for ece branch for general category male candidates was 5176 ( for home state), 5518 (for andhra pradesh candidates) and 4755 ( for other state).

And for general female category candidates it was :-
8838 ( for home state) , 8540 ( for andhra pradesh candidates) and 8224 ( for other state ).

So as you have secured 6900 rank and you are general category home state student then also you can nit get ece in nit warangal as you are a male candidate.

As per the previous year cutoff the chances are very less to get a seat in NIT Warangal. Your rank is not enough to get Nit Warangal in any branch.

congrats for the ranks. you can easily get computer science in nit warangal with this rank. I would advise you to apply for the jee advanced exam which can hopefully take you to the iits. Anyways refer to the previous year cutoff list for nit warangal.

I would like to tell you that you can even do PhD from any other top IITs or even top NITs as it is not necessary to do from IITD or IITB. There are many other best IITs and NITs such as IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, NIT Calicut, NIT Trichy etc. So you can do PhD from any of these institutes. Hope this will solve your query.

425 under Home State
474 for other state
Hence, you have good chances of getting a seat there.

Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.
