Constructed with the funds of popular company,Nirma has a posh, well-planned and a spacious campus with well-maintained sports grounds, fully-equipped laboratories and three clean and hygienic canteens. Moreover, the campus also holds well-facilitated hostels and a stationery store.
Although I have only passed the first year, I am capable to support the fact that the faculty is well aware and knowledgeable about the subject and thoroughly dedicated to solving queries ragarding it. The course and syllabus is also well planned and scheduled and very transparent on its public site.
The most reputed and valuable companies and MNCs visit the campus. It claims to have a placement ratio of upto 80% and Adani Group, Aditya Birla, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej, Bank of Baroda, Accenture, Amul, Hitachi, Samsung, Reliance, and many such companies visit it. The University fully supports and guides the students into choosing a career ahead in time.
This University holds the second rank in the list of best Universities and colleges in Gujarat.
Campus of Nirma University has covered land of 115 acres. Also, Nirma University is known for its greenery all the way across the campus. The campus is divided into 7 institutes: Institutes of Technology, law, management, architecture-planning, design, science, pharmacy and commerce. Also, inside the institutes, the departments are divided into blocks. The campus has dome ground, cricket ground, tennis court, etc.
Teachers are Doctorates and also the syllabus is updated according to what industries require. Talking about Institute of Technology, the institute has mechanical, civil, heavy industry, transportation, instrumentation and controls labs, etc. Also, electrical labs include high voltage labs, basic labs (electrical workshop), and power supply lab. Institute of Science has fluid dynamics lab, physics and chemistry labs.
Companies like Reliance, Schneider, Alstom, Wipor, Cognizant, etc. come to recruit students. The placement cell works efficiently. Also, 70% of the students got placed last year. They bagged an average cost to company (ctc) of 7-8.5 lacs per year. Highest package was bagged by computer science students who had 22 lacs per year salary. I am still learning at this place. The college has been actually very supportive till now. The teachers are quite enthusiastic to share knowledge.
The fees, compared to other colleges in the state is quite high. For institute of technology, the fees per year is Rs. 1,92,000/- Other colleges in the state offer bachelors in technology at a lower fee. Keeping the fees aside, the university is very strict and teaches to live in discipline. Also, the university not only focuses on academics but also on extra and co-curricular activities. The university gives the students exposure in national tech-events which also provides practical knowledge
Here, the biggest complaint of students is about compulsory 85% whereas in other colleges is 75% or less. This can be taken as positive and negative points both. Positive, because this helps the students be more focused in attending the lectures and to learn and acquire knowledge. This can be taken as negative point because it can sometimes; curb us to attend events which might be outside the city. Also, the environment here is completely like a school because the professors here are enthusiasti
Nirma University has given me opportunities that has helped me enhance my skills like communication, public speaking, oratory skills, English proficiency, network building, etc. Also, it has provided the stage to develop practical knowledge of my field.
The experience is nice we have a huge cricket ground along with 3 canteens and a mess. There are 4 libraries spread over the campus. Also sports ground is nice with pitch of every sport along with proper equipment. The hostel is nice along with indoor games in the basement.
Iam studying the course of BBA-MBA where my MBA phase is still left which consists of both major and minor specialisation. Also in my BBA course we were taught more about management along with proper electives which would help us in corporate and business world.
Since I have not yet started my MBA phase, I've heard info from seniors where they have told me that there is 100% placement from campus along with an average of about 7.5L per annum. There is a whole committee for placement purpose and also the highest was about 15L but iam not too sure about that. I've indulged in intenship interviews which is conducted by college which had some prominent companies like TOI, Tradebulls and NGOs also like TIDE etc.
For BBA in NRI category one might find it a bit expensive but when it comes to MBA it has the best value for money.
Events overall are conducted by different institutes also there are concerts conducted which show the diversity in the campus.
Good option for management
The infrastructure is good enough. There is a lot of greenery and good sports facilities like cricket ground, basketball court and also playing area for other sports. The classes are also having a good structure and have a good sitting.
Acedimics is descent enough. Nirma focuses heavily on Academics. There are few bad teachers and there are few who are extraordinary. There is a mix of good and bade teachers. There are guest lectures from time to time.
The placement of MBA ( Marketing) are around 8 LPA. The majority of placements are of Sales and there's are very less placements for Marketing & Branding. The companies are descent companies. Dont except companies like google.
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained and the college provides facilities such as libraries, canteens, auditorium, sports ground and much more. There are 4 canteens in which a variety of food is served and the food is healthy. All facilities are clean and well maintained.
The programme involves learning as well as practical exposure through internships. There are internships each year for students and there is a dedicated placement cell to help students move ahead in their careers. The curriculum is updated regularly and there are some latest subjects such as Data Analytics which is in high demand. The MBA allows specialisation which offers deep level subjects and makes the students job ready.
The average placement is 9 lakhs and highest placement is 12-15 lakhs. There are more than 60 companies coming for placement. Many reputed companies of India such as Adani, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro and much more come for the placement process and recruit students.
The cost of BBA is 2 lakhs per annum. The cost for MBA is 5 lakhs per annum.
The worst feature of Nirma University is 85% attendance is mandatory and students do not get attendance even for the club activities and college festivals.
The College has state of the art infrastructure with more than 5 libraries,500+ seating auditorium, WiFi, Smart Boards, Computer Labs, Sports Grounds and 4 Canteens. The food served is very hygienic and economical. All the facilities are clean and well maintained. There is even a Gym for Students.
The academics of College is good with professors having 5+ years of experience and the quality of teaching is also good. The curriculum is updated regularly and their internships held each year for students to make them job-ready.
The average placement is around 7-9 lakhs. The highest package for Integrated Students would be around 12-14 Lakhs. But the college 100% placement and there are more than 60 companies coming each year for placements.
This is low because the entire program fees for 5 years is equal to 16 Lakhs and the placement provided is around 7-9 Lakhs.
Labs are good enough, in all over the campus wifi facility is there and have very good internet connection but the problem is that, you have to use laptops instead of mobiles for wifi and in all labs AC are avaliable
Quality of teaching is quite good but 2nd year onwards and sometimes you have to manage by yourself of a subject by youtube or friends , but the teachers are very helpfull and very supportive. you have to just keep study according to the nirma with your extra activites.
In the perspective of CSE there is 97% placements where average package is 7L and minimum is 3.5L and the highest is 30L where a coding culture of Nirma is very good, seniors are very supportive to that that helps you to get the placements and there are many companies who come for the placements
Fees were quite high but after the placements you can compensate that
There is no Hostel for Btech students, there are many clubs which entertain students throughout the year and many activities and seminar and workshops are organise in the campus
My experience is very good and I know various things after I get into the nirma my various skills are developed during the semester but the only problem is that the hostel otherwise college is good for CSE students
The college has all the necessary infrastructure for a comfortable classroom learning experience. All the classrooms are smart classrooms with smart boards and a sound WiFi network. Although the college doesn't have its own hostel for UG students.
The curriculum is very practical and includes all the recent developments in the legal field. It is enough to make you job ready. The quality of teaching is also quite nice. Faculty is always there for help.
The quality of placements at our college has been average. The college is supportive and is ready to help students. We have our alumnus working in reputed law firms like Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas ,AZB partners, Khaitan & Khaitan to name a few.
The courses are worth the money . We are provided with several reading materials which makes it easy to grasp all the concepts. Classroom discussions also helps us understand all the difficult topics. Teachers are ready to help the student beyond classroom hours.
The campus is beautiful. It is a green campus. Students, teacher and support staff are equally supportive. It is located in SG highway, Ahmedabad. The college also has a doctor to handle any emergency.
My experience with the college has been good so far. The campus life is very enriching.
The college is equipped with high tech services and the buildings are well maintained. The facilities are duly provided and every classroom have smart boards. The environment is clean and hygienic....
The academic is very good in this college. The quality and techniques of teaching is quite different and unique. The curriculum is always updated and they always make sure to the development to the college in the best possible manner.
The placements are quite well in this college. Most of the students are satisfied with the placement program. Alumni are also in the reputed firms. The placement process is also easygoing. Thus it is satisfactory.
Value for money is not bad but definitely it is upto the expectation. However given the opportunities by the college it becomes quite satisfactory though. Thus, the money's Worth is also quite satisfactory.
The college campus is awesome. There are various activities to engage in fir the students.
Good.
Spread across the sprawling lush green 115 acres campus, Nirma University has the host of institute, department and centres. The building have a host of amenities including amphitheatre classroom equipped with multimedia and auto visual equipment, spacious seminar hall and auditorium with varied capacities, high tech advanced laboratories with latest equipment, and studious, to name a few
I'm studying B.pharm at nirma University. Institute gives number of opportunities to students and strive to equip them by providing skills, ability and knowledge required for life long learning and success. The institute continue to work with alumni to enhance it's activity through interaction in academic and research programs.
Nirma University has a very good placement record they have tie upto over 300 companies. In pharmaceutical companies they have a good network and have good placement records. They help with internship in both summer as well as winter season.
My course cost Rs1 lac per semester and is worth for because Nirma University is very competitive and also helps students to be all rounder and make students capable of every situation and also gives the best facilities and placement to students.
Nirma University campus is huge as it has many department. It has sports ground, library, canteens, auditorium, hostels in this campus itself. Staffs are vert supporting in every way they can. Congrats Buddy
Yes if you are holding a free ship card with yourself then all the universities of Gujarat and for all courses will accept it. However, only tuition fee is paid by government other fees like hostel will not be paid by them. You have to bear the cost of other things.
Also, I am a student of Nirma University only, so if you have any other query, feel free to ask me.
I hope this answers your question.
