The college infrastructure is great. The college has provided a lot of facilities for the students including indoor and outdoor sports facilities, library and well equipped classrooms and labs. The hostels too are well maintained and the food provided in the mess is hygienic.
I am pursuing MBA from Nirma University as it is one of the prestigious college of the country for doing MBA. The college provides excellent quality of teaching with teachers and mentors always being a helping hand to the students. The course curriculum is well updated and matches with the recent developments taking place
The quality of placements at Nirma University is highly satisfying providing 100% placements for the students of MBA. The highest package for the year 2019-20 was recorded at 15.5 lakhs for the management course.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classrooms has ACs, Smart Boards, LAN Wifi, and ample amount of space to accomodate 60 students. The college has Library too which can be accessed through online portal too. The hostel accomodation is very nice and has excellent ventilation. The food in the mess is also good and the mess also serves different cuisines.
I am pursuing my MBA from Institute of Management, Nirma University. My major domain is marketing and the faculty in the college is very experienced. The Nirma is very known for its marketing and I am also experiencing it as a student. The course curriculum is up to date and covers those stuff which will be beneficial for the students in the practical world.
The quality of the placement is acceptable. There’s 100% placements of students pursuing MBA from Nirma. The highest package for the session 2019-20 was 15.5 lakhs in IMNU. The average salary offered was 7-7.5 lakhs. The placement committee handles all the placement process with college performing all the back end tasks.
Nirma has a lush green campus of 120 acres. Mostly all the classes, labs and libraries are air-conditioned. 24*7 wifi facility is available for the students . No hostel facility is available for BTech students however college provides transportation facilities for the localities. College has 3 canteens which are very clean and hygienic .
Currently, I am pursuing mechanical engineering from Nirma University. The teaching staff is excellent and almost all the professors have done their MTech or PhD from IIT . The curriculum is designed in a well-planned manner so that students do not get enough burden of studies.
Quality of placement is very good for cse and IT department. Almost 90-95 percent of students from this department were placed in 2020 . The highest package offered for cse department was nearly 45 lpa . The average package for cs/it branch is around 12-13 lpa. However, the package offered for core branches are comparatively lower which generally ranges between 4 to 5lpa.
The tuition fee for BTech course in around 1,80,000 per annum.
Infrastructure of campus is peaceful and amazing. Campus is pollution free and every thing covered with greenery.now come about building so every department has a separate building and have proper lab facility as well as workshop facility.lab has number of necessary equipment and experimental setup. Total campus was cleaned by proper interval of time.and one more thing collage don't have hostel facility.
Academics is good compare to any other collage.Nirma university is mainly focused on education and Academics. All the faculties are completed their PHD from IITs or NITs. All professor having 7+ year of experience. the curriculum updated regular interval of time-period. they are providing internship and placement for the all stream students.
Average placement for all branch is nearly 80-100%. there is training and placement cell . in that they are guiding related to placement process. Minimum package for every branch is 4lacs and maximum is up to 15lacs. So all over package is good compare to other collages.
Fees is so much high compared to other private collage but they also providing placements with good package. and getting admission in this collage itself give self satisfaction. And they are providing all the facilities so value for money is worthy but not up to the expectation.
Campus life is can't forgettable. Amazing experience i felt during my Btech and lots of memories are captured like techfest , freshers party, functions ,festivals. but worst factor is we have to maintain 80% attendance and they are not providing any holiday for official purpose.
In our college they provide all needs for students like big and airy classes with comfortable benches. Even in every class rooms there is facilities of ac and projector. If we talk about canteen then i love it's food and yes it's very hygienic and canteen always smells good and clean. We also have good labs, libraries with computers , and hostel.
Our profesors are always willing to help us in our all problems even they help with our projects if we get any query. Our college faculty has also set CO it is course outcome like from perticular chapter how much we gain and where it will help us .
Placement in our college very good that's why nirma is famous for. Around 70% up students got jobs from campus interviews , highest package was 29 lacks per alumn ,that student was from EC department.
In my point of view my university does not notice that all students are coming from well background aome them are alao from poor family if i talk about current situation they have sent us mail about fees for 2 yr , but classes will remain online and fees are too high to aford because of lockdown.
According to me this college is best for me .
Yes, the college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The laboratories and classrooms are very well maintained. Campus is also very well maintained and cleaned everyday. But wifi can only be used in laptops and you need permission for it too.
Quality of teaching is top-notch. Every faculty pays attention and discipline is also maintained very well. And they also help with the queries in the free time. Yes, the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
The quality of placements in the college are pretty good. Various companies visit us every year for the bright students of the college. And mostly companies are satisfied with students. Yes the college is very supportive for the placement
The course costs 2-2.5 lakh rs per year including all the expenses. And I believe that the money's completely worth it. Because teaching is on point. and other curricular activities are also top-notch.
The college campus is good. it's best features are that it is very well maintained. worst feature is you'll have to walk a little too much. there are several activities one can engage in and there are also clubs which support the activities. it is located a little far from the city.
Overall it is a nice college and it has taught me several things and skills. The environment is also very nice and calm.
The campus covers across 115 acres of land. Nirma university is known for its greenery all the way across the campus. The campus has 7 institutes :- institute of technology, institute of law, institute of management, institute of architecture and planning, department of design, institute of science, institute of pharmacy , and institute of commerce. The campus also has a dome ground , cricket ground, students activity centre which are all well maintained.
The teachers are doctorates and also the syllabus is updated according to what the industry requires. There are several labs such as mechanical engineering lab, electrical and electronics lab, instrumentation and control engineering labs with all the necessary equipments, tools and components.
Several companies like reliance, Schneider , Wipro , Cognizant etc come to recruit students. The placement cell works efficiently.70% of the students got placed last year. the average salary was 7 to 8.5 lac per year. The highest package of 22 lakhs was offered to a computer science student by microsoft.
The fees, compared to the other colleges in the state is quite high. The fees per year is 1,92,000/- . The college does not only focus on academics but co-curricular activities also.
The most common complain is about the 85% attendance. This is a positive and the negative point too . It helps the students to be more focused and gain more knowledge and negative, because it can sometimes curb us to attend the events which might be outside the city.
Nirma university has given me several opportunities that has helped me to be better in sports , public speaking , english proficiency, network building etc.
Classrooms are well equipped and sufficient. Hostel capacity is limited so most students stay in private hostels or paying guest accommodations. Labs and library facilities are great. There is also a cricket ground, tennis and basktetball courts and another ground for functions.
Teachers are experienced and dedicated. They include recent developments. Curriculum is up to date. Teachers put in a lot of efforts into teaching the students and are particular about academics in general.
I don't have much experience in placement since I am a first year students. But from what I have heard sufficient placements are available. Over 85 percentage of students get placed with various companies.
The normal fees is around 1.8 lacs per annum which is decent as compared to many other private colleges which are very expensive. The fees also depends on the category of admission. It is more for NRI students.
There are many fests and events happening throughout the year. You can join various technical or non technical clubs. Competitions are organised. Sports events are also held. Festive activities also take place.
It has been a great experience so far. No problems faced as such. No issues of ragging. Discipline is excellent. Teachers are dedicated and facilities are sufficient. Overall a great University experience.
The college is very well infrastructured. It has huge classes with comfortable benches and a projector. There are total of 3 canteens in the whole campus. The canteens are well maintained and provide healthy food at cheaper rate. There are many lawns in between the buildings. Laboratories are well equipped with good lab assistant.
I am studying electronics and communication. It is very interesting field. It gives knowledge about various devices and their developmental parts. The curriculum is well updated and it is formed in such a way that it will lead students to jump into professional sector.
The quality is quite satisfying. There are many aluminis of Nirma University. Minal Rohit, one of the core member of ISRO was graduated from Nirma University. Around 50-60% of placements takes place every year. Average of 2.5 lakhs/ year salary is offered.
The courses here are quite expensive. My course costs around 2 lakh yearly excluding hostel fees. I am hoping that this much of money would be worth after my graduation.
The best campus life exists here. There are many technical as well as non-technical events held every month. The facilities are also open minded. The location of campus is behind zydus hospital so its very safe. Still there is a mini health centre in campus itself.
The college infrastructure is only good in first year and from second year Onwards all branches have shitty classes non ac that doesn’t make sense at all i dont know why? They charge so much and dont provide ac in class
Mechanical engineering the quality is very poor as the faculty’s are poor and below par and pressure students on marks and not what they love to do also i don’t feel that its recommend ti anyone else .
I haven’t had placement yets so idk exactly whats its situation but mechanical placement is very very pooor and the lowest in all of them and thats very bad and i love cse placement its highest of all
Its highly overrated and doesn’t desire the level it holds and pride it has as seen i made a mistake by taking admissions in this college it charges so high everyyear and afterwards placements are also poor so money waste no use of degree
Aspirant,
It will depend upon the cut off for this year. But you can predict from previous year cut off.
Here is a list of all NLUs and their respective cut offs in 2017 for the general category. Taking a look at this and previous trends if you have a rank till 1200 you seem to have a fair chance for All India seats in NLUs.

Hii There,
Congrats Buddy
Yes if you are holding a free ship card with yourself then all the universities of Gujarat and for all courses will accept it. However, only tuition fee is paid by government other fees like hostel will not be paid by them. You have to bear the cost of other things.
Also, I am a student of Nirma University only, so if you have any other query, feel free to ask me.
I hope this answers your question.
