Placements at JNTU, Hyderabad: the placement rate at JNTUH is around 94.65 percent for B.Tech. TCS, Wipro, oracle, accenture are the main recruiters. The highest package offered was around 17 LPA this year.

Placements at Osmania university: the placements are pretty decent here. Accentre, Oracle, Wipro, And many other companies visit the campus for recruitment. The highest salary package was 15 lakhs per annum and lowest was around 5 lakhs per Annum.

• B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering (60 seats)- last year closing rank was 10,921
• B.Tech Civil Engineering (60 seats)- last year closing rank was 15,112.
• B.Tech Mechanical Engineering (60 seats)- last year's closing rank was 19,179.

It will be tough for you to get B.Tech ECE and B.Tech CSE in JNTU Pulivendula as the closing ranks for both the branches last year were 6995 and 6696 respectively.

According to previous years data, the closing rank for cbit cse is 1655.This year for first round the closing rank for bc-a is less than 1200.If all the students accept the seat then it is difficult for you to get cse.But cse at griet is also good .It is also one of the top 10 colleges and has good placements and is a reputed college.If you want you can wait for other rounds of counselling but your seat at griet cse will cancel and you not have any chance to get that again.So make a wise decision and refer the given links below

Yes what you heard is completely true Osmania University is going to conduct examinations for 1st 2nd and 3rd year students.

But you don't need to worry as these exams to be online and most probably a open book exam. They haven't confirmed anything except that exam would be conducted. If the conducted to the offline method I am sure many students are going to resist against it.

so you don't need to worry as you won't have to risk your life to give your exam the exams would be online.

Firstly OU consider GATE qualifying candidates and then they select on the basis of merit ranks.Only few seats are available for TS PGCET candidates. According to your rank ,you a bit difficult chance to get CSE .You have good chances that you will get other branches. But nevertheless you still have bit of chances but these are just prediction. The seats are limited i.e approx 20 . So your further admission will be decided on factors like how many candidates are applying for the course , seats intake , ranks and previous year trends. But don't worry go for counselling and you will get clearance.
