Have a question related to Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) ?

Hii i have got 84.6 percentile in jee mains so am i eligible to get admission in PDPU b.tech computer science?

    Hi

    hope you doing well

Getting admission to Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU, formerly PDPU) for Computer Science with your 84.6 percentile in JEE Mains may be challenging but not impossible, depending on the specific round of counseling and your category.

In recent years, the cutoff for Computer Engineering (CSE) at PDEU has typically been competitive, with earlier closing ranks around 1400-5000 in the general category. However, lower cutoff ranks are sometimes observed in subsequent counseling rounds, and students with ranks close to yours have occasionally secured seats through sliding or spot rounds.

Since PDEU also offers admissions through state quotas and reserved seats for categories, you might have a better chance depending on your category and seat availability in later rounds. I recommend keeping track of the official counseling updates and considering other branches or closely related programs if necessary.

nirma university- candidates must  passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least   of 45% marks for the General category. Candidates belonging to SC/ SEBC categories must score 40%. candidates must have physics and mathematics along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer/ Vocational Subject.

daiict- candidates must  passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with  Mathematics, Physics and any one of Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology.

pdpu- candidates must  passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with  Mathematics, Physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects. marks criteria is 45% marks in 10+2 for general category, for sc/st it is 40%.

    Hello,

The first thing to note is that CHARUSAT is exceptional in teaching CSE. PDPU is a new player in the CSE field and focuses in the Petroleum and Mechanical disciplines.

Second, PDPU's undergraduate programme is significantly more costly than CHARUSAT's. Although it provides superior on-campus housing, living at CHARUSAT will give you an unparalleled opportunity to experience college life while studying.

Additionally, and this is ultimately what counts, CHARUSAT provides 100% placement in the CE and IT fields. Because CHARUSAT has earned an accreditation grade of "A" from NAAC, it will be a better location to study if you intend to continue your education overseas. In comparison to other colleges that compete with CHARUSAT, foreign universities will view CHARUSAT as a superior institution.

So, CHARUSAT CSE > PDPU CSE

    Good Luck!!
