Hello,

As of now we cant say anything about average packages for BDes in PES because this is the new course introduced by the institute in 2018 and students of the first batch is still in the institute and completed 3.5 years.

Most of the companies like wipro,hp,intel visit campus for internship.they provide quite decent stipend to the students for internship.

most of the students dont recommend VIT because its placement is not good.students have to make their own effort for placement.

Since you have not mentioned your category and other relevant details, it is little difficult to predict precisely whether you will get any government colleges or not.

However, looking at the previous year cutoff trends, you have some chance to get a seat in PES University, SIT, BNM colleges and some other decent to low colleges.

See in terms of Infrastructure both the institutes are great. From the point of view of curriculum, PES University have a more industry oriented curriculum compared to that of MSRIT (MSRIT is affiliated by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi ). Apart from this PES have a better placement percentage for the EEE in comparision to the EIE of MSRIT. Although the packages offered are lesser than that of MSRIT but you will have more possibility of getting a job in PESU compared to that of MSRIT. So technically, PESU will be a better choice for you.

The SNQ allows students from the economically weaker sections of the society to gain admission in engineering colleges across the state for reduced tuition fees.

• The entire government fees is waived off for an eligible candidate and s/he only has to pay a token amount for other costs.
• If the candidates income is less that Rs. 6.0 lakhs per year, you become automatically eligible for SNQ quota. Of course, the number of eligible candidate per candidate is limited to 5 percent of the total available seats.
• The seats are alloted under the SNQ purely based on the merit lists and ranks.
• The candidates have to make sure that they produce an income certificate issued by a Jurisdictional Tahasildar or the Block Education Officer and submit it at the document verification stage of the examination.
• Income Certificate (For Supernumerary quota seats only) (Income limit Rs.6,00,000/-) :-All candidates including General Merit candidates are eligible for Supernumerary quota seats. The eligibility for supernumerary quota seats is given at the following pages. The candidates who claim seat under “Supernumerary Quota” will have to obtain an income certificate from the concerned Tahasildar.
• Income Certificate obtained from concerned Tahasildar to claim “Supernumerary Quota” seats.

PES University will conduct 2nd round of PESSAT 2021 counselling on November 13 & 14. Candidates have to participate in the PESSAT counselling 2021 according to the schedule. PESSAT seat allotment will be done on the basis of the ranks of candidates in PESSAT exam, their preferences and availability of seats. There are only two phases of counselling. The demand drafts have to be produced after the PESSAT counselling registration process is completed.

The candidate must have completed his bachelor of technology degree in engineering   from a recognised University for taking admission in master of technology integrated course. The candidate must have completed 50% marks in the aggregate. The master of technology course is offered in many specialisations.

PES Ring road campus has released notification for PESSAT-2021 but in its seat intake matrix it has mentioned seats under these categories:

• CET Quota seats
• PESSAT Quota seats
• JEE Mains Quota seats

So I persume that it will be taking admission through all these channels.
