To get admission into Engineering courses some Colleges take admission based on entrance exam and some on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying exam.

Size coming to PES University, Bangalore they give admission into few Engineering seats through JEE Mains rank or State Entrance exam, few through marks obtained in qualifying exam or management quota and in 2 nd year of Engineering there will be few seats available for Lateral Entry students who is from Diploma in Engineering background they studied 3 years diploma after completion of 10 th standard.

Registration for B.Tech: You can join B.Tech courses in this College based on State entrance exam or marks obtained in qualifying exam or any Management quota seats.

Registration for B.Tech JEE Mains: You can join only through Rank obtained through JEE Mains entrance exam. Candidates who have vaild JEE Mains score are eligible for this.

Registration for B.Tech Lateral Entry: You can join B.Tech 2 nd year directly if you have completed Diploma in Engineering course.

Yes, you can get admission in PES University, Bangalore with PESSAT or KCET score if you do not get seat admission with one of the scores you may get admission based on the other exam (PESSAT/KCET/JEE Main) score. To apply for admission to B.Tech course you must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biotechnology  with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. To apply for admission based on PESSAT/KCET/JEE Main score you need to first register in the portal using the link given below

To participate in counselling for admission based on PESSAT and JEE Main score you need to apply separately for B.Tech and B.Tech (JEE).

Both colleges are excellent, however BMS College of Engineering in Basavanagudi, Bangalore, is the superior institution.

It has a good placement record, particularly in the CSE department, but placements in other fields are also acceptable. Every year, over 300 companies come to school to recruit students.

The crowd on campus is also fairly nice.

The infrastructure of BMSCE is excellent. They feature air-conditioned and well-maintained classrooms. There is a large library with a large book collection. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. The labs are equipped with the most up-to-date technology. A large indoor stadium is available for games such as badminton, basketball, TT, carrom board, and chess.

PES University is a good technical and management university. The faculty members are good and helpful, infrastructure is good with a good library.

According to me you should apply for PES University.

The eligibility criteria is different for different courses so you need to first select the course.

The entrance exams are:-

1. PESSAT.
2. KCET.
3. JEE Mains.

Almost 80% of the students get placement every year. The highest salary is 24 LPA and the lowest salary is 6.5 LPA. Cisco is the top recruiting company.

Placements: Placements were good in our PES University compared to other colleges in Bangalore. The highest salary package offered is 13 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Students who are taking marketing specialisation the placements was very easy compared to other specialisation. Presently there are huge low placements for finance specialisation students.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was really good in PES University hostel as well as in the campus. Students can visit the library at any time inside the campus, and more sports, events, cultural events will take place inside the campus to refresh the students. Students can also have the opportunity to play games and gym facilities, the good atmosphere when entering into the campus, and has good classrooms.

Faculty: The whole staff at PES University is highly qualified, and they provide immense knowledge about the subject as well as outside. The course curriculum concerned that the college is going to offer many online free courses which helps the students to fit the technology up-gradation.

As of now we cant say anything about average packages for BDes in PES because this is the new course introduced by the institute in 2018 and students of the first batch is still in the institute and completed 3.5 years.

Most of the companies like wipro,hp,intel visit campus for internship.they provide quite decent stipend to the students for internship.

most of the students dont recommend VIT because its placement is not good.students have to make their own effort for placement.

Since you have not mentioned your category and other relevant details, it is little difficult to predict precisely whether you will get any government colleges or not.

However, looking at the previous year cutoff trends, you have some chance to get a seat in PES University, SIT, BNM colleges and some other decent to low colleges.

See in terms of Infrastructure both the institutes are great. From the point of view of curriculum, PES University have a more industry oriented curriculum compared to that of MSRIT (MSRIT is affiliated by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi ). Apart from this PES have a better placement percentage for the EEE in comparision to the EIE of MSRIT. Although the packages offered are lesser than that of MSRIT but you will have more possibility of getting a job in PESU compared to that of MSRIT. So technically, PESU will be a better choice for you.

The SNQ allows students from the economically weaker sections of the society to gain admission in engineering colleges across the state for reduced tuition fees.

• The entire government fees is waived off for an eligible candidate and s/he only has to pay a token amount for other costs.
• If the candidates income is less that Rs. 6.0 lakhs per year, you become automatically eligible for SNQ quota. Of course, the number of eligible candidate per candidate is limited to 5 percent of the total available seats.
• The seats are alloted under the SNQ purely based on the merit lists and ranks.
• The candidates have to make sure that they produce an income certificate issued by a Jurisdictional Tahasildar or the Block Education Officer and submit it at the document verification stage of the examination.
• Income Certificate (For Supernumerary quota seats only) (Income limit Rs.6,00,000/-) :-All candidates including General Merit candidates are eligible for Supernumerary quota seats. The eligibility for supernumerary quota seats is given at the following pages. The candidates who claim seat under “Supernumerary Quota” will have to obtain an income certificate from the concerned Tahasildar.
• Income Certificate obtained from concerned Tahasildar to claim “Supernumerary Quota” seats.
