SRM:
In this regard, SRM has a slight advantage over Satyabhama. Till then SRM is offering placement in some of the big companies in India. SRM has a better placement percentage over Satyabhama. But if we ignore the minute details and highest salary offered then the Placements of both the Universities are kind of same.
Sathyabama.
Academics : As per my knowledge, theory classes will go good and practical classes mostly depends on in-charge you get. One can get easier Threshold marks for getting passed. If you can provide little time for your preparation of practical exams, you could make it remarkable.
Workshops/ Innovations :There will be many workshops going on all the time. I am sure not every workshop is productive only a very few are good and knowledge can be gained.
Placement: However You might spend your time during the course, at last what everyone need is people require job and some go for higher studies/entrepreneurs. Placement visting companies are numerically good and it is all your skill and talent which position you can acquire.
For SRM, it is a good private engineering college, and it is one of the best in India. Placements: Almost 96% of the students got placed in computer science and engineering. The highest salary package offered is 39 LPA by Adobe, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA by Wipro.

amrita:
One side you would be in a deemed university, well known for the education it offers (inpar with that of the IITs). You would have ample of facilities to help you grow but the downside what most would feel not good is the rules and the restrictions that you are made to face, like not being able to leave the campus without a pass, hostel in timings, lack of fun events compared to the other colleges, etc.,.
Other side you would have freedom, fun and stuff but education in Satyabhama is not something I can precisely comment upon cause I haven't studied there, but from what my friends tell me the freedom and rules are pretty light compared to Amrita.
So I would suggest that you take the Amrita part from me, Satyabhama part from the other people who studied from the University and then compare properly.
Hi Aspirant,
Among these two colleges Sathyabhama college is quite good in terms of facultie and placement. The college provides good education as well as effertive completion of course curriculum. The placement of the college is quite high around 86 percent.Rest of the studnets actually opt for higher educations. However the average salary package offered is about 4-5 LPA.The infrastructure is also quite good.
Hope it helps!!
