Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with for 537 marks being from obc,
you hold a good chance to get a seat in Government Medical College.

For example,
in neet  2019, 436 marks for obc category was the cut off marks to get a seat in  government medical college    under under AP state quota SVU region and it was for Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa

You also have chances in following Government Medical College under AP state quota svu region :-

*ACSR Government Medical College, Nellore

*S.V. Medical College, Alipiri Road, Tirupathi

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year  due to   many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in   which you have to chances and
to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

Hello Sravanthi!

I am assuming you are from the MPC stream.

According to the previous closing cutoff ranks in various branches in government colleges, you have fair chances to get seat in govt colleges. I am listing some of them:-

Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering, Tirupati ( B.Tech MECH and Chemical Engineering )- last year closing rank for MECh branch was 91,488 and for Chemical branch was 92,479.

JNTUK University College of Engineering, Vizianagaram ( B.Tech Metallurgical Engineering )- last year's closing rank for this branch was 1,14,976.

Andhra University College of Engineering for Women, Visakhapatnam ( B.Tech MECH and CIVIL )- last year cutoff for MECH was 29,726 and for CIVIL branch was 79,697.

ANU College of Engineering and Technology, Guntur ( B.Tech EEE and CIVIL )- last year cutoff for EEE was 39,554 and for CIVIL was 63,634.

If you are BIPC student, getting a B.Pharma seat will be tough. If you are a MPC student, you can get B.Pharma seat in these government colleges:-

Acharya Nagarjuna University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guntur

SKU College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Anantapur

Andhra University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Visakhapatnam

Hello ATAGARA RENUKA!

You didn't mention your category, so I consider you are from the open category by deafult.

As per the last year's data, the closing ranks for the open category in Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering, Tirupati for CSE branch was 1906 and for ECE branch was 2425 . So, there are negligible chances for you to get CSE or ECE in SVU. But you can get B.Tech Chemical Engineering in SVU as the closing rank last year was 13,286 for the open category.

The closing ranks for the open category in JNTUA College of Engineering, Anantapur for CSE was 4068 and ECE was 4480 . So, again there are less chances for you to get these branches in JNTUA Anatapur. But you can get B.Tech Chemical Engineering in this college again as the closing rank last year was 11,783.

You can get both CSE and ECE branch in these government colleges:-

The closing ranks for the open category are mentioned in the brackets above.

Hello aspirant,

Congratulations for getting a good rank in ap pgecet. But this rank is still not good enough to fetch you a seat in JNTU Kakinada as there were no seats remaining for BC_D girls last year.
You can expect a seat in electrical branch in JNTU Anantapur. But the cutoffs vary every year. Cutoff depends on the number of candidates participating and the seat remaining for pgecet.
If you want to know your chances in other colleges you can comment the names I will let you know.

For more information on ap pgecet and it's criteria you can refer the below mentioned link.

Hello student,

Congratulations for securing a good rank. With this rank you can expect a seat in AU and SVU in structural engineering and transportation engineering respectively.

In other colleges the seats are not even available after gate. Therefore it's difficult to get a seat there.

Hope this is helpful for you.

Hello aspirant,

You didn't mention your category which is an important factor of determining your college and group. So I'm providing the details regarding the cutoff's of all categories,

The cutoff's for cse branch at SVU are as follows ,

General category : 3033

Sc: 19000

St : 28000

Bc-A :5800

Bc-B :3000

Bc-C :8400

Bc-D :3000

Bc-E :8540

So as per the data, if you belong to either sc, st or Bc-c you can expect a seat. Kindly note that this prediction is based on previous year's data and variations occur from year to year.

Absolutely satisfied with this college.

College Infrastructure

The facilities and infrastructure of this college are very good . good labs for practicals and clinics and a well-stocked library with a huge collection of books. All the classrooms are fully equipped with high class infrastructure such as Wi-Fi and digital smart rooms. In sports, every sport is available there like cricket, basketball, lawn tennis, etc.

Environment here outside college and the area is good

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of Shri Venkateshwara University is accessible, but it still needs improvement. BCA Building was very basic and had enough sitting arrangement, but no amenities such as air conditioning. Library provides a quiet study atmosphere, but more books on technology are required. The campus environment is peaceful and has enough greenery, so one can attain a smooth temper while sitting in the campus. However, stronger facilities coupled with better improvements would describe the scene ????

Excellent infrastructure in the college.

Verified Review

College Infrastructure

College Infrastructure is mainly average and looks just for show purposes. Labs lack the basic equipment; however, overall facilities should increase more to make the learning experience better. The hostel facilities are low, especially the food that makes it an uncomfortable stay. You experienced it personally for two years.
